Is it just me that thinks of the film 'Toy Soldiers' when i think of the Alliance vs Horde scenario. Human people = Douche, Big scary monster people = pretty decent guys.
I don't understand why you come off as being angry over this topic, but I'm not trying to say that the Orcs are in any way better than the other races, simply that there's more to it.

The implication is that the Chieftains were promised power of some kind, but were instead cursed with blood lust which allowed Mannoroth to control them. I hate it when people blame the entire group for something that a few individuals were responsible for, which is why I say Varian Wrynn is a douche bag who in turn makes the whole Alliance look like douche bags.
Despite what's going on in the game, Thrall has made numerous attempts at peace with the help of Jaina. Read Thralls wowwiki entry.
And I never blamed the Draenei for anything, it just so happens that when fleeing to a new world, they inadvertently brought the Burning Legion where the Orcs were discovered and later controlled.
Anyway, so I took a look through wowwiki at a few things, then discovered that apparently wowwiki has been abandoned by yonder elite lore nerds in favour of a site called wowpedia and so read through that too.
Results?
Still hate Orcs. I'm sorry, but they knew what they were getting into. There's nothing that goes against where in Warcraft 3 Grom taunts Thrall with the revelation that they willingly choose to drink ze blood. Similarly reading the wiki entry on the 'curse' reveals that it makes them bigger, stronger, and more violent. It does not however control minds, that's why Grom was able to take down Mannoroth in a badass cinematic. The Orcs were fully aware of what they were doing, of the violence and slaughter they were bringing down. That they've never tried to make any sort of restitution for their crimes since still annoys me. Tricked into it or not, they wiped out an entire kingdom and nearly drove an entire species to extinction twice, that's not something anyone can just shrug off and dismiss as having been a 'crazy drug trip'. Drug addicts in real life are held accountable for their actions, I don't see why Orcs get away with a free pass aside from not being real, which is a damned silly excuse if I ever heard one.
Then again I'm reminded of the old saying; one death is a tragedy, a million is a statistic, a bajillion is comedy!
Might've made that last bit up.
It's funny too, reading up on Varian as suggested (Truth be told I never knew or cared much about the guy. He popped up around when I stopped paying attention!) I see nothing to indicate him being at all unreasonable. Indeed according to the wiki he's tried on numerous occasions to barter for peace, indeed when he was kidnapped and sold into slavery with the Horde it was during a trip to attend a peace summit with Thrall. That he's agreed to barter and deal with the Horde even after having lived through being enslaved by them shows remarkable willingness to compromise. Hell the more I read about him as a character the more I like him, though honestly the amnesia and multiple personality thing is just downright stupid fantasy tripe of the worst sort. I thought writers got tired of that shtick years ago? Who wrote that crap, seriously? As a character however he seems just fine. His only 'flaw' is that he wont bow down to the Horde like a coward and is willing to make a stand for what he believes in... and bad writers apparently, but Good for him regardless!
Seriously though, amnesia and multiple magical personalities? Warcrafts story has always been cheesy and silly, but that's just downright stupid.
And just in case you think I'm being too angry (Sarcastic maybe, but not angry), here's a picture of a kitten too!
Your points are based on having a horde bias. I prefer ally more so because of the players themselves. Jesus H Christ, the horde are the most moronic players in the Deathwing server. I mean, I out DPS'ed them with a non-heirloom geared goblin priest! >_>
As for the lore of the game, I honestly don't care. Both sides have their on justifications which make picking side difficult.
And I don't play a class for sex appeal and God helps those that do because then no one would play the undead race, trolls, worgens, ect. Humans, nelfs, belfs and dranei are all semi-ok looking. Goblins, Dwarves and Gnomes are just adorable. Everytime I see a gnome in a dungeon I tickle it... erm, I digress.
Really now, there's no superior side on the game, both sides hate each other with vigor and both sides have their flaws.

It varies server to server apparently, because the Horde players on Runetotem aren't nearly as insufferable as the alliance ones, and I played a human mage during vanilla.
Back when I played, I had a gnome warrior simply for the sheer absurdity of a little guy running around with one giant weapon in each hand. I'm not sure whether or not that's still possible (I think the ability was called Titan Grip) but it was funny enough that I became an Alliance player. That, and I found a lot of Horde areas rather uninteresting visually. The snowy plains around Ironforge were a lot better looking than the wastes around the Orc homeland.
