So my friend is a 360 fanboy and he keeps saying that ps3 graphics will never match 360, so i showed him heavy rain and told him it's ps3 exclusive and he told me "Those are the worst graphics I've ever seen" *sigh* so i showed him Alan wake and told him its also ps3 exclusive too(lol) and he told me the same thing. ok...ok those two i can take, so i went for the killer, i showed him Killzone 2. And he told me that halo 3 looks better... so i kinda just... decked him in the face and drove home. So why in the world are fanboys so damn blind? Is there something in their brain that blocks common sense?
Seriously though, why are fanboys so oblivious to facts?

i also don't see the point in restricting yourself to the use of one console, it's nice to have variation, i like most people have Wii and an Xbox 360, i play the Xbox more but sometimes i get bored and play the Wii, bet if i was a fanboy of one i wold be a lot less happy.

truthfully, the playstation 3 isn't really putting out graphics much better then the 360 right now.
The PS3 has superior hardware, but the software is too similar. Only PS3 exclusives are able to use any of the extra power in the PS3, and they haven't put out anything that I've seen yet that makes me regret buying a 360.
I'm sure that eventually they'll be pushing the boundries further then the 360 can follow, but they aren't yet

Fanboys are much like the Religious and Party Political Campaigners.
They believe in something, they believe in it so deeply that to have their belief contradicted in any way is deeply hurtful to them. So they lash out against anything that threatens the security of their belief.

The ps3 has better graphics, the wii offers a different approach to games and the xbox360 aims at amassing the largest army of games. Depending on what you prefer you pick a console and away you go. There's no reason other than stupidity to say that one console is better than all the rest in all ways possible.
Eh i got a ps3 cause i Like RPGs, and playstation consoles i know normaly have large Volumes, if i was More interested in shooters, id Probly have got a 360
I think its unfair to say that ALL fanboys of all things are arrogant gits. For isntance, id call myself a fanboy of both Metal Gear solid games, and star wars, but i cant also accept that Raiden was a winey prat in MGS2 and not playing as snake in it pissed me off, i can also accept that the new star wars trilogy was terrible compared to the old one. However, as Yathzee has stated and others have stated on this thread, many people can only afford one or for the younger audience are allowed only one, so if they feel theyve made the wrong choice, or have been brainwashed by the mystical wii-ray, the easiest thing is to insist thier right 'until the fabric of reality changes, because thats more likely that you ever changing your mind!'
As for the PS3 VS 360 debate, no one in thier right mind can argue that the 360 has superior hardware, its just not true. However, its still early days for the PS3, and the games its putting out arnt really that much better than the 360s in terms of visual performance, so many 360 owners can feel they can argue that the 360 has better graphics

I'll finish by saying that as a PS fanboi in general, I find some of the games to be lacking in the graphic department. The PS3 has the ability to do so much more and the only reason I can see why developers aren't taking advantage of this is because there's no real reason too.
