Okay I've broken every console except my PS2 and Gamecube, that even includes my computer (at the library right now >.>) and I've started to skate alot more. I even forgot about the best people in the world... EVERYONE ON THE ESCAPIST!! It greatly saddens me I forgot about you guys, but I remember now so enjoy more Ghostly-ness. But my best friend hates this site so I ask you guys... what's wrong with him?!

Hate this site? Well it does have its bad points. There are a hell of a lot of elitists here who can't bear to be wrong about anything. Moderation of the site can sometimes be extremely inconsistent. And there can be some issues with some of the articles here (example [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/op-ed/6401-Edge-or-Edgy-The-Clash-of-Two-Game-Makers-Update]).

It's an okish site, but it isn't king of the internet for me.

Figure out why they don't like it. If it has something to do with the individual critics, the format, the community, or something intelligent like that, then I'm sure you can settle your differences and just not talk about it around him. If it has to do with some kind of unjustified hatred of reading or video games, then he might be a ignorant prick who it would be in your best interests to disassociate yourself from.

In any case, I don't see how your preference of video game news networks could ever be the final straw to end your friendship. Just don't throw it at him all the time and you'll be set. Being friends doesn't mean you have to have EVERYTHING in common, it means you accept each other regardless of that.
