Really? You build a giant, unsecured prison city to house all the madmen and superpowered villains that have ever committed a crime? You really can't think of anything that could go wrong with this? I know everyone but Batman is retarded but come on. Someone must have raised the issue that YOU'RE CREATING A PLACE FOR EVERY BAD GUY EVER TO GET TOGETHER AND PLOT IN COMPLETE, UNBRIDLED SECRECY, YOU FUCKING MORONS.

I had to get over that bump with Arkham City. It still doesn't make a lot of sense.
really? the way i saw it, the criminals took that part of the city over, not that they were released into that part to just run riot.
(i might be mistaken though, it does make more sense my way though :p )
No, Warden Sharp from Arkham Asylum became Mayor, then set up "Arkham City" and dumped all the asylum and blackgate residents in there, basically letting the rabble sort themselves out.
okay that is indeed a seriously flawed idea right there, it makes even less sense for civilians to be there then, i mean wut?

Once when I palyed Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Iwas on that level with the aliens that fired poison at you. In this level you climb a really tall tower. And I mean really, really tall tower.

Anyhow, when I ahd climbed to the top a dark jedi kicked me off the ledge. I was like "well, goodbye world!". Then I landed on my spaceship and I was ttally ok. I fell about 200-300 meters without a scratch. (And yes, falling does hurt you in this game, and that was a certain-death height)

It wasn't annoyting, it was just a moment full of LOL!

in battlefield bad company 2 how a scalar wepon witch i believe to be a EMP pulse devices somehow manages to leave the devices nearby that intact?? that just makes absolutely no sense at all.
Why? EMPs don't damage anything, they just make it impossible for electricity to flow. As far as I know, they aren't even visible to humans.
i thought the rapidly changing magnetic fields caused electronic circuses to surge damaging the transistors and other things. but i have no real idea i just know their generally bad.
Actually, I think you're right. I don't really know EMPs work. I keep correcting people before actually deciding whether I should or not and it's annoying because I can't support the argument!

Heroes of Might and Magic series: Units attacking ghosts suffer a 50% miss chance because ghosts exist on both the material and astral planes. Fair enough. But a unit of ghosts attacking another unit of ghosts still suffers the 50% miss chance. Eh? They're both astral creatures!

GTA series: No matter how badly mangled your body gets, whether you're in a fiery explosion in a motorway pile-up, whether your chopper is shot down by SAMs over Area 69, or whether you drown off Vice City beach, eight hours in a hospital and you're right as rain. But what about the people you get sent to kill? Do they all have 'Do not resuscitate' tattooed across their chests or something? And how come halfway through a mission when that halfwit Sweet gets himself 'killed', yes 'killed', you can just drive straight 'round to his house and pick him up again?

How can the hunters or for that matter the human races haven't been all killed off from the monsters from the Monsters Hunter series.
I mean in real life dinosaurs weren't around during the caveman era.

I've always been a little confused as to why bug type Pokemon are strong against Psychic and dark types. i just don't get it.
'Cause Bug had to be super effective against SOMEthing. That's the only reasoning i can think of :p

Oh, but why is Dragon super effective against Dragon?

Don't think i've ever actually let things in games bother me too much, i mean, somewhere along the production line they must've made sense to someone.

Though there is that thing in Adventure Quest where Ice can be more effective against Fire than Water is and that is something i'll never understand. At least pokemon got that one right by making Ice not very effective on Fire.

Ice MELTS! Who'da thunk?
I think it's because Dragons are pretty overpowered so you have to fight fire with fire...but wait, dragon pokemon are pretty hard to come by, shouldn't they have made it something a little less rare so they wouldn't be so overpowered? Aw screw it.
Ummm dragons , are also weak against ice , and because most dragons are flyingtypes it does 4x damage .

OT: Dark souls , undead burg . I went up a tower where there is a black night ( before the armored boar ) he knockdd me off the top of the tower , i survived with about 10% health , and as i was drinking my flask he jumped off the top of the tower and killed me.

I always assumed it was because Psychics fought enemies by abusing their minds, but bugs have little to no actual "mind" and instead operate on a sort of hive-brain thing. I mean, I know lots of real bugs don't work like that but it makes sense from a soft-science sort of perspective >__>.

Psychic makes sense, they have hive-minds or at least very different thought processes to normal pokemon hard to attack psychically, dark types probably because they feel less fear.

I like how ghost types evolve, implying that they arent ghosts or that they're still alive in a way. or that ghosts can faint.
I always thought (Now I only played up til Silver/Gold) that Ghost pokemon weren't actual Ghosts but just Gaseous pokemon mistaken for ghosts, but that's probably wrong.

The Green Star thing in Mario Galaxy 2. I thought I had finished the game. I was wrong. Oh, and the final, final boss in Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne. That was just mean Atlus.

Well bug types are annoying to people who concentrate (psychic).

I don't understand the games logic of giving my human enemy critical hits whenever he wants but I hardly get critical hits at all and when I do, i dont need them in pokemon games. But I still love them.

The ending to Bad Company 2, when You're just left there with no real conclusion and a massive, cock-tease 'there will be a sequel' end.

Oblivion. Checking out the racial perks. Then getting to Redguard. After reading the description, I said out loud to no one. "... Seriously? They made Black Rage into a super power?!"
That one sort of made me chuckle, but yea, that was a huge WTF moment for my first TES game

I literally did shout out "Seriously?!" when I reached the point of Dead Rising where you figure out the villain's motivation.
It makes no damn sense and implies a complete ignorance of the American beef industry. Then again Capcom are just game developers so I guess I can't hold them up to knowing anything about beef production anyway.
ZOMBIE COW WASPS are just one of the reasons I hate the Dead Rising games, some others being hellish amounts of tedious grind, retarded story-lines and fucking broken save systems.

How far are you in the game? They explain why it happened pretty well, actually it might have been in a sidequest involving Mad Hatter now that I think about it, but it wasn't exactly a democratic decision to build the thing

It boils down to this:
Hugo Strange recruited, or forced/tricked based on his bio tapes, the Mad Hatter to hypnotize Sharp into building the facility
Psychic is weak against common phobias. Dark, bug, ghost represent the dark, bugs, and ghosts.
