They only talk shite because they know it will get a rise out of people. Just look at how many folk have posted here and it's not even the original forums at which the fanboy smack talk was posted. See, I learned this lesson a long time ago from a friend who was dating this girl. This girl and him had been together for several weeks, and they met up with me and a few other friends at the Union for lunch. For some reason that I cannot remember anymore, she announced to us during the meal that she was bisexual, and had been with various girls and guys alike. A few of our friends stared in disbelief and we looked at my friend, who was typically a straight laced guy that did everything by the book. He finishes chewing his current bite of food, swallows, and without missing a beat, shrugs his shoulders and says "you like what you like". I had great respect for him that day. He's currently engaged to her, and I'm going to be the best man at the wedding (mainly because she can't stand his other friends though)!

Anyway, this simple string of five words...is a very powerful message in my mind. If PS3 fanboys would just shrug at 360 users saying "you like what you like", and 360 users would do the same, there would be so much more harmony in the world. But instead, opinions will be ridiculed and attacked, and flamed....probably for eternity.

360 fanboys bashing on them I can sort of understand, because their raw, unbridled and illogical hatred for anything Sony will inevitably come out.

But PS3 fanboys bashing because the reviewers "sounded upset" or that "you mentioned there was no co-op", even though the game got a perfect score? Get a life.

That being said, the way this game is looking, I'm disappointed it's a PS3 exclusive. I liked Killzone 1 a lot and was looking forward to see this one.

Why do people keep calling it a generic FPS?
Hell, I don't even need to play it to actually see that it's another generic FPS. It's right there in front of you. Lets see if I'll get surprised though. Statistics say I won't.

Play the demo.
With surround sound at max.
With a nice telly to watch it on (preferably 1080p or the like).
And take your time (as you need to get used to the controls, you being a PC-badass n' all).
It may or may not blow your mind, but it will surely leave some sort of mark of schizophrenia. Along with a mild seizure, but I'm sure you've gotten used to that sort of feeling playing Crysis or Dawn of War or whatever the hell you PC people are playing nowadays.

Like Crysis, you really have to play it to understand it I suppose.
