I always lacked the balls to wear such clothing, or similair products. Standing out makes me feel icky. Once though, I was very tempted to buy a certain WoW t-shirt, but I no longer play WoW so that makes no sense anymore.

I just have my "Despite popular belief, I am good looking", Oscar the Grouch, LBP, Mr Perfect, and 7up T-shirts, I don't see the point in non novelty T-shirts.

I know how you feel.

The thing is, its the people around me who are the ice breakers most of the time.
It makes me feel special, but at the same time, insurmountably awkward...

Oh, my biggest attention getter is probably my Flogging Molly T-shirt becuase A) It's written in Celtic Script, and hardly anyone understands what it says on the first read-through, and B) If you can find a fan of the band where I live, your extremely lucky.

I have an insanity prawn boy t-shirt. It seems to go down well since the guys prety much a household name, and I can impersonate him disturbingly well... As for breaking the ice... People screaming ANUS in your face when you're making your way through a crowd is an interesting experience.

I have one that says something along the lines of "I'm trying to understand your point of view but I can shove my head up my arse". That usually gets a few laughs. I recently bought one that says "Please God save us from the Christians" but not worn it out yet so dunno what reaction it will get, if any.

I can tell if someone's a gamer when they talk to me. The "OMG! You look like Snake!" is a giveaway. (would post a pic but fear of weirdos and lack of pics prevent me from doing so).

I have a shirt with the Yggdrassil on it.

It's EPIC.

I also have an acid green tie-dye shirt with a phoenix on it. It is also epic.

I have a few band T-Shirts that oddly enough, never break the ice. I have 3 Guns N Roses shirts, a Metallica one, a Dream Theater one, and a Zappa Play Zappa one.

Although I do have a Link shirt that I wear occasionally. One time this kid came up to me and said "Nice shirt." I looked at him and it turned out he was wearing the same one.

I don't even really like them but Oasis have been such a good ice breaker for me with random girls it's unbelievable. Music is usually the way to go for me if I don't know somebody. That and mild sarcasm.

My brother was visiting, I wanna say Cleveland or Cinncinatti in about 2000-2001.A guy walked up to him while he was eating at Subway with his friends and said "Oh so you liked that movie huh" pouinting at his 'Scarface' shirt.
He looked up and it was AL PACINO they were filming scenes for a movie nearby. Of course a picture was taken so others (like myself) would believe him. By the way my brother is 6'7" and Mr. Pacino is like 5'6"ish so the picture is kind of funny.

I have a black t-shirt with tiny, I mean miniscule, writing on it which says: "Nosy Little Fucker aren't you?" It's gotten a few laughs... but you kinda have to be standing close to me to see it anyway.
