sex in RPG's

Noone plays BaldursGate/Fallout for the sex, as soon as people start playing it just for the sex bits theres quite possably a problem. (especially when theres not even a screen, just a blackout)

Why did anyone play DoA Beach Volleyball? I hardly doubt it was because of a love for DoA Beach Volleyball.

Both of the first two fallouts have sex in them. The GAME part of the first two fallouts suck, but it has sex in it.


So far the only one to do it tastefully.. (That is, in a way that is not WE HAVE SEX BUY OUR GAME!) is Mass Effect. You watch the characters grow and the romance is mostly a tool to further the story and the sex scene is more romantic then arousing.


But for the record it IS a good drawing tool, because about sixty, maybe seventy percent of all gamers are idiots who will throw money at anything that shows ample amounts of..

I thought the sex in Fable II was source of humour more than a selling point.

Baldurs Gate 2 kinda had sex in it if you count 1 sentence in the most text heavy game i've ever played.

The romances definitely made the game better by adding realism and I think it was quite innovative.

Unfortunately true. How many copies did DoA: Xtreme Beach Volleyball sell? Too many. Some would argue that game was more a Softcore porno than a video game.
