With discussions kicking around about sexism in games, I thought it would be apt if we discuss our genres sex symbols. Tell us your favourite sexy male and female character, and WHY they're sexy. You like big ol' digital titties? You like your protagonist tall, dark and handsome?

I'll kick things off by saying that Alyx of the Half Life 2 series is sexy. It's her eyes for me, they hide a hidden sensuality in my opinion.

I also think that Vincent Valentine has got it goin' on. Weird, I know, but there's just something about a brooding, handsome stranger that would have me in a swoon.

Snake is sex on a legs for guys ;) Not really attracted to males let alone game charecters but come on he is th sort of bad ass that would have a new girl each week and never care if they broke up with him because he has ten more waiting.

As for female characters i don't really know. There are not many because of the utter fakeness of them. Eva from MGS 3 maybe because she is pretty real, well as real as say Scarlett Johanson is, not overextended Pamala Anderson figures. Lady because she is a slightly Gothic badass.

I have never been into the "perfect" sort of girl though and female characters tend to be this.

Samus Aran. Don't think I need to explain why I bothered completing a few of the metroid games with certain handicaps (13% Hard mode Zero Mission is totally worth it, though, even though the max allowed for the ending pic was 15%, heh)

i am pretty sure that alyx vance is the best female charicter. she is just so damn beliveable and she is a kind of "real-world" sexy not the strange (and in my oppinion un-attractive) female charicters that prance around most games.

on the man side i would have to say ethan thomas but only in condemed 2. he is just pure badass.

on a side note: dont put alyx vance in to google image you will loses al faith in humanity

Mscher made a good point in another thread: the fact that everyone says Alyx Vance may be good work on Valve's part, but it's a bad sign for the rest of the videogame industry. If one likeable, capable, realistic, believable female character stands out so much, it's because there aren't many others.

Link is damn sexy in TP. Umm, I'll second Vincent Valentine (claws are awesome). And put one in for Zelos from Tales of Symphonia. Gotta love that long girl-like hair.

Girl wise Zelda in TP is hot. If I were a guy or a lesbian I'd wanna hit that.

Oh, and I'm gonna have to say no to Bowser, but yes to Yoshi. I mean, look at that tongue!

I hate to bring the tone down, since everyone's been fairly reasonable with this thread so far but... Kasumi from DoA. Unrealistic? Yes. Completely unproportioned? Yes. Hot? God, yes!

However, given the choice, I'd always go for Eva Green.

EDIT: And she's not a game character, if you don't know her.

Also id like to through my two cents in by saying i find the idea of virtual sexuality intresting if not just a tad wierd. I dont find female characters attractive (nor male) because of the fact that there not real but at the same time ive got a friend who regually (damn spelling) tells me of the game characters he finds hot and ive always wondered wat attracts people to game characters. Is it the personallitys or images or the idea that they could be whoever you wanted them to be ie the perfect partner?
