Ya know, we all hate to admit that we can find an animated girl/guy attractive, but damnit, I'm a man! How can I resist?

Anyway, Ada Wong, she's the only game character that I thought "God Damn if only she were real...."

We seem to be going from human characters to mild bestiality.

In any case, I would say Zelda. Though the ears should be toned down a bit. They could put a man's eye out! Of course, that might be more fun...

Lt. Commander Cassandra Sheppard.

My Sheppard was gorgeous, and she could kick three of your Sheppards' asses.

Who can't escape the foxy face of agent Tanya!

Please take this statement as sarcasm if you don't think so, because I said that to go either way.

sexiest female: Scholar Ling from Jade empire.

For me she had looks that made her feel original compared to majority of female game characters which try to go for the ultimate perfect sexy look. Which in end makes them all feel the same and boring.

As far as boys go, I suppose since someone mentioned Vincent that brings the total number of video game guys I would gladly do up to one (although I imagine foreplay might get awkward what with all the metal and claws). I tend to go more for the ladies when it comes to games.

On which note, Samus and Sheik. Yes, it would be life threatening, but it would also be awesome.

Oh, definitely the King of All Cosmos. He's sex on a biscuit, that guy.

for me it's hard to say i can honestly say i find alot of female game characters attractive. but to pick just one favorite, is tough, i'd have to say lynn from fire emblem, sexy looking and able to kick ass as well. but really any girl from doa can have my vote and while i've never played half life 2 the girl from that does not rank in my attractive list, something about her face and hair i just don't like. oh and i'd be remice if i didn't say ginchyo tachinbana from the samurai warriors games, heh, nothing like older women.

and to be fair i'll throw out a sexy guy from games because i know i'm a pig of a man promoting unrealistic body types apparantly but hey i can admit when a man is attractive, actually i'm going to say kimari from final fantasy x not because i think furries are attractive, i dig the guy's build and general demeanor he just happens to have fur and a horn.

I downloaded Triggerheart Excellica purely and simply because that purple haired robot chick was cute. I'm not even that big a fan of vertical scrolling shooters. Raiden (MGS2 version, natch. The new one just looks weird) is crazy. Hot guy + skin tight bodysuit + limber = oh sweet Jesus. Ninja Gaiden's Rachel looks like a Barbie doll. I mean, sure, the ludicrous proportions are one thing, but it looks like she's made of plastic. O'course, I've never really seen the appeal of big boobs, so I might just be missing the point.

Also id like to through my two cents in by saying i find the idea of virtual sexuality intresting if not just a tad wierd. I dont find female characters attractive (nor male) because of the fact that there not real but at the same time ive got a friend who regually (damn spelling) tells me of the game characters he finds hot and ive always wondered wat attracts people to game characters. Is it the personallitys or images or the idea that they could be whoever you wanted them to be ie the perfect partner?
Yup, jacking off to videogame characters is probably on par in creepy nerdy pastime terms with fat bearded male Sailor Moon cosplay. Then again, I do wonder if it's really any stranger than, say, enjoying an erotic novel. Both are entirely fictional, and both rely on the imagination of the audience to fill in the missing realism. Perhaps it has more to do with the character that's created, than the medium by which it's shown. I mean, it's fairly common knowledge that nudity in itself is about as sexy as a desk lamp. Pretty much all the erotic overtones in pornography come from the lingerie, the "sexy pout", and any other little garnish that the director has added in order to make the picture exciting. So it's certainly not the fact that "they're real people" that's turning you on, unless you're jacking off to the idea that "there's a girl that's allowed someone to take pictures of her in her underwear", as opposed to "there's a girl in her underwear".
The logical extension of that, is that the fact that "it's a real person" counts for little, since everything that makes something erotic is usually a work of fiction anyway. In that sense, it's about as strange to ogle the DoA girls as it is to get excited by a sleazy porno. Both have characters which a laughably unrealistic, and both have characters that are designed for the sole purpose of being sexy. The idea that "they could be whoever you wanted them to be ie the perfect partner" is something that's shared by pornography in all formats.

That said, this thread is still the most hilariously and unashamedly geeky thing I've seen for weeks. Man, what a bunch of losers.

Ada from Resi 4. Somehow manages to combine feminity with decent firearms usage AND looks slinky in a red dress.

I'd probably have to go with snake on the male side.

I'd have to go for the generous, Rubenesque curves of Ivy from Soul Calibre. Christie from DOA in her S&M outfit is also hard to go past. Or do I really have a thing for white haired women? :-S

If I had to bat for the same team, I would have said Leon S Kennedy; although Chris Redfield in RE5 is looking pretty macho.

Well, I did specify to include both female AND male characters in your responses.

f I HAD to pick a guy, I'd go for Dante from Devil May Cry
The hottest girl is without a doubt Samus Aran. There's something about seeing a knight in shining armor blast through hordes of aliens only to find out its a hot blonde with a jumpsuit that looks like a second skin (that or a pair of short shorts with the smallest top imaginable) that makes me go "holy crap".

Has anyone said Tifa Lockhart? So what if all video games follow in the same blueprint. FFVII was one of the first 3D games around. It was at the biggining of an era and kickstarted the hot image of female rpg characters for years to come. Definitly Tifa.

as for a guy... Dante... I guess.

Just to be a rebel, I'm gonna go with Krystal from Star Fox. Furries FTW!

As for a guy, two words: Guybrush Threepwood.

Before I start, this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1Ku6L7_bFg] is for the Samus fans.

Now. I guess I like the kinda quite, shy girls, so Liara and Keira gets in. Ashley (from ME)is pretty hot, in the 'I'm-gonna-kick-your-ass" kinda way. Then you have the regulars, like Samus and Alyx.

For the guys, I reckon Dante, Kratos, Master Chief (the voice is awesome), and all the other manly men get into my books.
