So Jack Thompson got laughed off the internet when he said violence in video games = violence in real life. Why don't these Social Commentators get taken so much seriously when they say Sexism in games = sexism in real life?

Honestly my whole opinion on the subject is that it just highlights lazy story telling in games more than sexism. Yet I've people telling me that because there is sexism in games I'm a sexist in real life.

They don't.

Nobody (Or most bodies I guess) really believes sexism in games makes people sexist. They just think that sexism in the media needs to change.

Even She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named doesn't flat out state that sexism is somehow contagious in video form.

Actually, She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named DOES say that sexism is contagious in video game form...and then contradicts herself a video or two later. Most of us don't think that there's sexism in video games. But the SJWs come in without actually understanding anything and go apeshit and plaster our "sexism" all over. Then when we try to have an honest discussion, they use the excuse that because of our gender/race/sexuality (male, white, and straight) our opinion somehow doesn't count. It's impossible to discuss because they refuse TO discuss it. I hope the mainstream media doesn't pick this up..."Tonight at 11---Video gamers ALL misogynistic pigs?"
