Alright, here we go with state of play; Will it be good? Will it be bad? Let's find out!
First off, we have Lumines arise. A visual puzzle game, filled with particle effects to the beat. Not sure if this was worth a spotlight, but w/e.
Pragmata. A new IP from Capcom. Third-person shooter/adventure game. Looks kinda nice, NGL.
Romeo is a dead man. A sci-fi action game. The story feels like Rick and Morty inspired.
Silent Hill F. Holy shit, this looks terrifying. Reminds me of both The Ring and Ju-on movies. And is that gradual damage to the clothes I see? Coming out this September!
Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement. Yep, that's definitely a spiritual successor of Castlevania
Digimon Story Time Stranger. A digimon RPG In Persona style
Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles! Holy shit, SE finally remembered FFT exists! Hopefully, it comes to PC soon!
Babysteps; one of those rage-inducing walking simulator, with some hilarious dialogues.
Hirogami. Wow, the art style looks good!
Ninja Gaiden Ragebound! Omg, the re-endition of stage 4-2 theme is amazing!
Cairn. It's a survival resource management game to climb a mountain.
Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection. A collection of all the classic MK games.
MGS Delta Snake Eater. My god, it looks good. They are adding some sort of multiplayer. Huh.
Nioh 3. They are never gonna run out of creatres/monsters they can pull from Japnanese mythology, aren't they?
Thief: Legacy of Shadow. Revival of a classic franchise... in VR. Sigh.....
Tides of Tomorrow A multiplayer game where you can see the a glimpse of previous player's choice, and you can decide whether to do the same or go the other direction.
Sea of Remnants. How hilarious is that This looks way better than Skull and Bones? I'm sure it has nothing to do with the unique art style, actual naval combat, and the ocean and islands that look fun to explore! /s
Sword of the Sea. The next relaxing adventure game from the creators of Abzu and Journey. And just like with their previous works, the visuals look phenomenal!
Classic PS and PS2 games are coming to PS4/PS5; Deus Ex, RE3, Twisted Metal
007: First Light; A James Bond game... from Amazon. What? It's from the guys who made the Hitman reboot. And I can see the similarities; Except the MC is more talkative and there are a lot more explosions.
Ghost of Yotei. Now featuring a wolf companion
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. A Marvel fighting game without Capcom characters. Looks amazing, NGL. 4v4 tag team battle sounds amazing. But will it be enough to make it stand out amongst other fighting games?
Overall:
If you can't tell already, FFT has sold me over! SE, you know people on PC will throw money at you. Come on, make the PC release soon!
Lots of stuff that got me excited, and surprisingly no live-service games, Intergalactic: HP, nor Horizon game.
