I'll add to the thread that the things you feel shame for don't have to be universal, I'm sure there are some people who take pride in being the last to the raid and have to be summoned there.

I thought this thread was going to be about Fursuits when I clicked on it. I'm not sure if I'm disappointed or not.
I aim to please and/or displease.

Well, I did feel shame for being the only person on my "Capture the Flag" team in God of War: Ascension to retrieve all of the flags without trying to kill a single opponent in my way... or even had my mic on while doing it so that everyone on my team was in the loop to begin with...

Does that count?

If you felt shame, it counts.

Played MGS2 yesterday for the first time and the first boss fight was incredibly awkward. Lots of running away and lying on the floor fixing my bleeding, occassionally try to tickle her with KO-dart gun which instantly knocks out anyone but her for some reason.
Also wasted so much ammo by going to the bottom floor first only to find out I need to go to the top first. Now I have to clear all the guards with my bare hands. Guess it's like the next difficulty setting~
Didn't help that I got confused and thought the number on the right was my total ammo, not my carrying capacity and tried to look up how to reload only to find up I was completely out of ammo...

I once allied with Atilla the Hun in Civ 5 to gain some defensive help whilst building up my religion. I felt so idiotic when the inevitable "You were foolish for befriending me! Have at you!" message popped up and I was left with an entire army at my capital's door.
But in Civ 5, when someone declares war with you, any units in your territory are places on the edge of your border. Unless that's what you mean by your capitals door? (I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm just curious on the predicament in the game.)

That's the thing, I had a weak as fuck army so by that point in the game it was my couple of bowman and warriors against his trebuchets, swordsmen and catapults.

Oh dear. Well I guess it was lesson learned, I had a similar experience with Civ 4.

I love it when I fat finger my ulti in DOTA 2 during some totally innocuous stretch of game play.

"Let me just tango up here"

"I uh...I needed the CS"

I've done that deliberately before, and rightly caught flak for it. ;p
Oh, DOTA: Allstars...those were the days to be a royal scrub. Before MOBAs became "sports" and everyone lost anything resembling humanity or humor.

When I'm too far away to help someone up in Borderlands games.
When I get kicked out of a Strike on Destiny(Internet problems) with my friends(yeah, not my fault, but still feel bad about it)
When I'm the first to get jumped in Left 4 Dead(versus) and it leads to a party wipe.
When someone I'm healing dies(various mmo's)
When me dying and someone coming to revive me screws up a raid boss run(Borderlands)
When I've held up the tv for 45 minutes fighting the Demifiend or Elizabeth(Digital Devil Saga and Persona 3, respectively) only to die horribly to one of their 9999 hp moves.

When I incautiously overextend in League of Legends and my team blindly follows me to their deaths (even worse when I actually survive by myself).
