If I don't use it, my scalp dies and people don't want to be around me.

Except when I do use it I get attacked by girls going 'CAAAAN I TOOUUUCUH YOUUUUUR HAAAAAAAIR?!'

I've been trying out some different brands, the last one was American Crew (original shampoo and tea tree conditioner), I'm now using Organix (tea tree mint shampoo and conditioner).

Do you have short hair?

Sort of. Medium length. I simply stopped using it and didn't notice a difference. Nobody's ever told me my hair is greasy or disgusting in any way, and my girlfriend has actually complimented it. I'm glad to save money in that area, and I'm testing out life without shaving cream to see if I can go without that as well. So far, I've shaved successfully a few times without tearing my face apart.

What is this "shampoo" you type of? I use tea tree because I have this skin condition that is a lot like dandruff. I believe they called it cradle cap.

I have never heard this, would you know why it is bad for the scalp.

I was told that it dries out your scalp or something.

It mightn't be true though, it's just something someone told me.

I use Schauma - Oil Intense, it's recommended for longer hair cause it prevents hair breakage and split-ends. And it works perfect for me.

Uh, why is it gross? Just because someone doesn't use shampoo it doesn't necessarily mean that they quit washing their hair.

Regular soap kills bacteria and dissolves grease and dirt just as well as head and shoulders or herbal essences does.

The only difference (aside from the overpriced "brands" they put on some shampoo bottles) is that shampoo contain all these extra chemical ingredients that is supposedly good for keeping the hair full, or flowing, or making it look more "shiny" than regular soap does.

But in terms of keeping the stuff clean and "not gross", soap works just as well as any shampoo brand does. Heck you could even clean your hair with strong vodka or whisky as long as you rub it in thoroughly and make sure you wash it all out completely afterwards.
