I've just subscribed to LOTRO, after a couple of years of "that looks interesting, but..." I don't mind paying for a few months, but once it goes free I've got a safety net in case I want to keep playing but can only do so sporadically (which is what usually seems to happen, and why I usually try to resist subscription-based games).
I would've never chosen that haha...then again I don't write anything half as funny as Shamus does
