I played Risky's revenge, and enjoyed it.
I plan on playing the original on virtual console after I finish Wario Land 3.
I do however wonder why they need to kickstart it when the series has been relatively successful already.
They apparently say it on their Kickstarter. They normally get contracted by other companies to do these sorta things, but I guess in this case they aren't and wanna self publish it themselves, which there's nothing wrong with that I think. It might also be because they don't have as much man power since they have to work on their contracted work first, for example the Ducktales Remastered or Mighty Switch Force 2.

Guys you have to fund this. YOU HAVE TO. I must have the 500k stretch goal, and play as Risky. Please.
$467.975 in the moment I post this. I am pretty sure we will get this treasure.

I think it is quite possible to reach the $600.000 goal in a final day effort. But the other goals seem farfetched unfortunately. Maybe it would have been better to do a later Kickstarter for the further goals as the game gained more popularity.

Still an adorable half-genie belly magician and a badass tall pirate are good.

Never played the Shantae games. Although this does look pretty cool. I'll give it a go once it's out.

Too bad that the Escapist didn't say anything about this.

In other news now we can play a lady pirate.

I have been impressed by WayForward other games. I would highly recomend you give them a spin if you like platformers.

Well, Kickstarter funding is over. But Paypal donations are still accepted.

So, we got:
