There is a local band around here that's very good, but I don't think many people outside of the festival circuit in OH/PA/MI would know them very well. Name's Boogie Matrix Mechanism, seven-piece band with a real eclectic mix of music. It's kind of...like...ummm...take the best parts of psychedelic, funk, jam and hip-hop, and you have something approximating the sound they come up with. It's a very unique sound.
