I don't know if the diamond planet is a single molecule, it'd be pretty awesome if it was...
but after that your fingers just say 'fuck this shit' and stop working? can you elaborate please, because i is confused.Hasido said:you can count to 1023 on your fingers without committing anything to memory.
Wouldn't that be the same with vampires then?azzxl said:Zombies can't exist because since the heart no longer pumps blood the bodies muscles would atrophy in minutes to hours.
Then it's less 'a single molecule' and more 'a single element'. Molecular carbon doesn't really exist except as bucky balls. Any non-perfect diamond (i.e. all naturally occurring ones) will be composed of more than one 'molecule of carbon' as its imperfections distort grain structure (though I may be confusing it with metals... if a materials scientist would care to intercede).TrilbyWill said:it's less one molecule and more one type of molecule.Daverson said:Despite their size, perfect diamonds are composed of a single molecule.Gizmo_Gia_Gias said:There is a planet made of diamonds

diamonds and graphite (the stuff in writing pencils) are both two separate forms of carbon.

And there's also 'octopodes'... though that's strictly the taxonomic plural, not the common plural. The Greek plural is 'octapodes'...uhohimdead said:technically this isn't true...
Octopus is a word of Greek origin, not Latin. Therefore the correct plural form is OCTOPUSES.
even though both forms are generally accepted as correct
