Not so much disturbing, more silly...

Once, I decided to play WoW for as long as I could, non-stop, with breaks only for things like bodily functions and feeding/watering.

It was fun, at first, but then I started to get bored. After drinking about 6 Monster Energy Drinks (trust me, these pack a punch!) and playing for 48 hours straight, I started to feel weird.

My vision was blurred, but sharp at the same time. I could see things, but I wasn't quite sure if they were real, even though they were. I was hallucinating and felt fatigued. My reflexes in-game were fine, but I felt like I was going blind. This probably doesn't make much sense, but I really can't describe it, I've tried so many times.

Needless to say, I decided enough was enough.

I ran myself a bath, and fell asleep in it. I had a nightmare about WoW and woke up with my head well below the water (which was cold). I'd slowly slid into the water and almost drowned. It took me about 20 mins to cough/vomit up the water I'd been soaking in.

I had spent nearly 9 hours asleep in the bath!

Then I went to bed and slept another 18 hours and was totally shattered for weeks afterwards. I felt like I had a really heavy cold for at least 5 days and had an enormous sleep-debt and fatigue for about 14 days after that.

Never, ever again!

You think thats bad, theres a video on YouTube of an in game funeral for a player on a PvP realm, were the Horde decide to crash it, and kill everyone there. Quite funny, but so very insensitive.
Honestly, that is in no way funny. Even if you only know someone online, you can still have talked to that person enough to actually feel touched about that person dying for real. Obviously, you can't exactly go across half the nation to attend a funeral of someone you barely knew, but if a funeral ingame is the next-best thing, then why can't you at least have that have that?

2 years ago I bought the game and after I got home I realized there was a $15 subscription attached. . . I never even opened it and roughly 6 weeks ago I gave it away. The kid I gave it to is really into it, now.

Not really a disturbing WoW story, more like my only WoW story.

Not my own story, i stole it from the friend who got me into WoW. It's not my screeny either, it's his.
Not so much disturbing as funny as fuck, but i suppose that depends on how you see it.

Read through the chat.

[EDIT]

Ohh, better idea, marrige raid trolling. Get twenty or thirty people to do this. That would be glorious.
Be sure to energize them up with the good ol' "FORUM TROLLS, Prepare for Glory!"

OT: I was on my olny high level toon in clasic, i was somewere in the badlands, grinding elementals and whatever else i could get my sword in-in between eating and waiting for my bandages to get off cooldown so i could earn money for my first mount, not an epic one- just a plain old mount. when i spot this named tiger, i start up to him and see another two guys goin for em so being a prot warrior i start whackin away, and mid fight he has enoughf time to tell me in whisper "Stop hitting it!" given no reason but curious my character disengages and lets the tiger whail on me for a while while i wait for a reason as to why after givein some insentive allong the lines of "I want it" or "I need it go away" i then procided to continue with the wailing of the murderous veriety and as the tiger reaches his last sliver of health he manages to eek out "PLEASE STOP". face palming at my own guts reaction to stop and let him try again to explain i drank a Health potion and gave him untill i was about to die to explain after a breif back and forth consisting of something like "Why do you wan't it?" "Just get out of aggro range and i'll tell you" and haveing to use a potion and being held up for the 3 minutes the 'fight' had lasted my health bar and his time ran out and i ran the damned cat through, i looted a green off the cat and promptly recalled because the green had enoughf value to JUST buy my mount. the hunter then began to QQ for the 15 minutes i was still on about how he's been looking for the cat for hours and had been spamming badlands chat about how he diden't want anyone killing the cat, and i responded with something like "Perhaps if you wern't spamming in chat i may have paid attenchion :p
But the story dosen't end there: sometime days later one of my guildies was on the forums and told me over Teamspeak "Theirs a forum page called 'blacklist '
confused and intrigued i looked for it upon finding it i read the why and find that it was indeed that hunter whos tiger i 'stole'. now this is were the horror story turns out to have a happy ending because he was so unable to turn me into the bad guy that the community as a whole was on my side, and i had yet to even defend myself :D i posted my peace and never visited 'Blacklist ' again...nor did i ever visit the wow fourms again but i digress.

My most disturbing moment is when Blizzard decided to add FUCKING ELVES to the Horde, I can only imagine the amount of Brain Damage they must have sustained to make that seem like a good idea.

Should've been Ogres for BC!

Forgot some things.

Not me, but some druid humor

Oh yeah, and I found something which annoyed me while looking through some of my old screenshots:

Take note of my health/mana and that of the tank, then the tank compared to the entire rest of the team. I would have preferred if the void walker tanked instead.
I Was IN Nexus The Tank said i dont wanna tank anymore i wanna heal [Hes a Warrior] and the Healer said 'Ill tank then' this followed with me getting blamed for not healing

Dont ask why he yelled at me i done even know why.
