I thought it would be fun to share our ideas for movies and or stories

My idea is set in miami in the cocaine fuel 80s it starts off like scarface basically a young guy working his way up to create his own massive cocaine empire. He gets a massive shipment from bolivia worth hundreds of millions and this is where the story takes a turn. The bolivian coca leaves contained a parasitic virus which basically turns people into zombies. As a rich drug lord he is one of the few people who has the resources to take down a load of zombies and redeem himself

It would be a satirical commentary on how drug use "zombifies" people. It would obviously include a cocaine fuelled battle against zombies with loads of hints to 80s culture and an 80s soundtrack. Also the contrast of the darkness of zombies and the neon lights of miami would be visually stunning

Well, I don't know whether or not you might like my idea for a movie or story of mine, but...

My idea is set in an imaginary (or secondary) world where dinosaurs and cartoon characters (especially those from the 90s kids cartoon Dexter's Laboratory) exist alongside humans.

It is something like J.R.R. Tolkien's three-volume epic fantasy masterwork The Lord of the Rings, but with Dexter's Laboratory cartoon characters n' dinosaurs as well as some shades or touches of James Cameron's AVATAR's gorgeous CGI visuals.

Even though it'll be a new interpretation of Dexter's Laboratory and other Genndy Tartakovsky cartoons, it may share little with one of its source materials, the 90s cartoon Dexter's Laboratory.

And like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, it will be a mix of live action and traditional 2D (and largely) hand drawn animated cartoon characters, but with CGI dinosaurs and the sweepingly grand scale and scope of the epic Lord of the Rings Middle-earth cycle of J.R.R. Tolkien added for good measure.

That idea is Dexter's Odyssey.

In Dexter's Odyssey, the unexpected revelations surrounding Lee Lee, Dexter's sister Dee Dee's Asian friend who turns out to be a mysterious and mighty Mulan-type female warrior who holds the key and the power to save the world from evil, sends Dexter, Dee Dee, and Dee Dee's friends Mee Mee as well as the aforementioned Lee Lee on a suicidal mission/epic quest to battle The Dark Lord Mandark, an arch rival neighbor of Dexter who has gone evil and powerful, and all manner of hell (and magic as well as dinosaur action) breaks loose.

That is all.

And I would like to create a sequel to this in which the Bolivian government, realising the immense political and economic implications of its ability to manufacture a zombie plague, in terms of its potential as a weapon, tool of political intimidation and source of profit in the bioweapons industry, tries its best to use its new-found power responsibly. Things turn sour when an invasion of northern Chile, with the intention of giving Bolivia access to the Pacific Ocean, causes other Southern Cone countries to ally against them. At this point they have to decide whether to back down or attempt to zombify everyone and, unfortunately, they go for the second option. Soon the undead are running rampant across the continent, and as people struggle to fight or escape, the film becomes a satire of inequality in Latin American societies...or something like that.

Here's one: A movie about the development of humanity's first FTL ship. Go through the years of development with the engineers and the crew as they prepare for launch. The movie ends with the ship making its maiden voyage and arriving in orbit around an Earth-like extrasolar planet and the crew celebrating the success.

I had a dream where I was attacked in my home by some crazy old guy and when I finally killed him (in self defense) I found out it was me. He kept ranting about "I'm not going to let you do it" while we were fighting. Leaving me the question of what could I have done that would make me go back in time to kill myself? It was just a dream, but I thought it could be a cool idea for a story.
