This is my shep I think she is quite pretty her name is Rose.
My first FemShep looked similar to that, only with shorter hair. While I do like her as a redhead better, my FemShep (who'll I'll post a picture of later) was designed to be a Renegade female version of me (with my ManShep attempting to be me). It went alright, although I think in ME2 her face became kind of man-ish and not as pretty as it used to be in ME1.

Wow

All those female Shepards look really similar. Seems like there's more room for variation in the male models.
Shucks.. There are not many options if you don't want to look like a downright Tomboy. A lot of the haircuts are really short and, well, dykie. GI Jane-y. So you're stuck with two (default) haircuts.

Then it's a matter of cheekbones and complexity, but there's not too much to change.. While the character customization does allow for some face sliders, the most important facial features are simply preset. You can either choose #1, #2, or #3, but you can't change anything about it.

I tried my best to give her some full cheeks, minimize the chin and jaw and a good hair/eye color combination. Her skin is fairly pale too, to make her look less.. Western. If you want a feminine shep, you're pretty much always going to end up with "Tidy shoulder length hair" and "messy shoulder length hair"..

Edit: There's also that... third.... option... But I don't think many people like the Cruella De Vil hairstyle.

I like yours a lot. Mine kinda looks like that, but a more pronounced jaw line area. It bugs me how everybody hates on a blonde Shep, the face structure has more to do with the sense you get from the face then hair colors. Haters gotta hate though I suppose.

I have like 4 Female Sheps and one guy, all end up looking pretty ghastly though. The eyes always end up looking crossed or lazy due to the eyelashes.

I'm too lazy to get a legit screenshot of him, but skip to about 25 seconds in and you'll be treated to the one face I use for all of my saves... except my FemShep, which would be weird and pretty much defeat the purpose. I'd post her, but good FemSheps all look the same, the only difference is that I used the default hair rather than the hair everyone else uses because I'm different, bitches.

I've only got the one, my FemShep. Well, technically I have a male one too, but I started him 6 months ago (give or take) and he hasn't left Eden Prime yet.

So I have ONE. Chance Shepard. I wuvs her! =3

Rei Shepard - Engineer (Blue Eyes)
But, but that's MY Shephard! Seriously not cool dude, you stole my character! Nah but the reseblance is uncanny, except that mine's pure renegade, is a vanguard and has green eyes.
Pretty sure that it's just that hair cut, and the blue eyes, but everything else is the default face. Which happens to be a ***** to replicate in Mass Effect 2. Mine probably looks identical to yours.
That's not the default face, unless you're assuming I somehow switched god knows how many variables, and then somehow ended up switching them back again? And I'm pretty sure I changed a lot of stuff.
I believe the problem is we're talking about different games, which is my bad for not explaining properly. I meant it is the default for Mass Effect 1. For Mass Effect 2... yeah, I spent an hour dicking about with customisation before I got the face from my Mass Effect 1. I now have a copy of the exact values I used so I don't repeat this.

I think this is where the discrepancy is anyway.
Ah ok then, that makes more sense. I never played ME1 so I don't know what the default femshep was like there. Though judging by yours and a few other comments here we seems to have struck upon a similarly common look for femshep. I hereby propose that that is sufficient evidence that this shep is the canonical femshep, despite what that bioware poll might say, and not just because I didn't like any of their own proposals for that poll.
wait wait wait wait... you didn't play ME1... what? what? why not?
Because I don't have an xbox.
Neither do I, buy it off steam.

Needs to be an option with her with that hair style, but red.
well number 2 was red so I'm not sure why you would do thats since that pretty much the point of the poll.
The red hair has it tied back, and I really don't like that hair style, I like it when it's let down. The hair style overrides the hair colour, but it doesn't mean I have to like the hair colour, nor other people who voted for number 5.

Here are my Shepards!

This was designed to look like me so I could be the hero. I think I did an ok job (although I omitted my goatee). ME3 is going to be interesting, as I romanced Ashley and then Miranda.

This was my second playthrough and basically I attempted to create a FemShep version of myself. Stayed faithful to Liara. Gonna have some blue babies.

This is my current playthrough. I love the fact that he turned out pretty ugly. This is the renegade Shepard who is going to have a hell of time (lots of people are going to die). Plus he's going to cheat on Liara with Jack.

I've got one other Shepard that I'll be creating who will basically be the opposite of my FemShep (Paragon, opposite decisions).
