Anyone ever played a game where one of the characters dies and you just go nuts and kill everything in the game in a fit of revenge

For me it was losing the gf in "The Darkness"

I just destroyed everyone in the next level
Amen to that. I freakin flipped shit. I actually enjoyed spending time with her, and hand also got the good boyfriend achievement. So when they blew her brains out, I kinda snapped. And in that game, I really fuckin snapped.

I wasn't crushed when my wife and kid left me in Fable 2 (second wife actually. I sacrificed my first to the evil temple), but I did feel a little bit of loss. But then I realized I still had my little buddy by my side so everything was still okay.

You know where this is going...

In mass effect on virmire
On my first file Ashley shot Wrex when I didn't want her too. You can bet I left her ass behind. Maybe a nuke will teach her some respect.

The first Half-Life, when the special forces rappelled in and started shooting scientists, then started zipping up out again. Oh you do not think you're just skipping out of here!

Tales of Symphonia.

Sure, Colette doesn't actually die. She just loses her soul.

That was more than enough to get me to slaughter Remiel and Kratos in a blind rage, and do some comparatively serious damage to Yggdrasil.
i remember that game it was so awesome.

Aggro in Shadow of the Colossus.

Yes, he was old, slow and handled like a shopping cart, but he was my horse, damn it!

I still remember the night....that all my Pikmen were killed......it was horrible, that damn bug, THAT DAMN STINKING BUG! He killed every last one of them! He ate the red ones, the blue ones, the yelllow ones, the purple AND EVEN THE POISON ONES!!! THE POISON ONES FOR GOD's SAKE! I could only watch as they were eaten alive, dozens at a time were eaten. So I killed that bug, with my own, bare, hands, but not before killing it's larva as it watched. *crys* I'm sorry *sniff* I have to get ahold of myself, *breaths in and out* I need to be alone for a while....

Why not, haven't you felt sad when a character you liked died in a movie or a book and you wanted to kill everyone?

Of course. Why wouldn't we? It's half the point of having a well-written story.

Not quite a death but nearly...

When Alyx gets attacked by the hunter in HL2:ep2. I was proper raging that I was stuck under that porta-cabin and could do jack all. Thats why I loved the fight with the hunters at the radio tower later on, cause I could shoot the living bjesus out of them all.

I also got pretty angry at the end of MW1. Until you get the gun, then revenge was sweeeet.

Also this, lots. She is a prime example of what npc companions should be. Helpful, funny, plot relevant and of course pretty :)

...where Trish dies. I didn't go and kill everybody, but it certainly upset me a bit.
Which is weird, considering she annoyed me through a lot of the game.
...at least Zeke doesn't die.
