Legally (in my state) under 18 is under 18, though if I had a 12 year old daughter and some 15 year old started... exhibiting certain interests... he'd be running from my Harley and my .44

It's the whole 'daddy's little girl' thing that fathers go to extremes on that makes it dangerous territory.
Is a .44 even legal anywhere in your country? I thought the most excessive was .357?

the formula x=n/2+7 works well for all n<50, but as we continue upwards, it looks less and less important.

At n=120, the formula returns 67, but I'm not sure we'd be creeped out if a 60 year old dated a 120 year old. We might be freaked out that the 120 year old is dating at all, but that's not what we're dealing with here.

We need a new formula for all n>50. Someone needs to make a graph.

Funnily enough, I've always seen the Age/2 + 6 rule as the guide to the minimum age of girls I could date. But looking back, every girl I've every dated has been around the same age as me. Infact, the biggest age difference was about 8 months or so; when I was 16. [I'm 21 now, and my pool of experience is somewhat larger. ;)]

16 here

If anyone in my year at school started dating someone below 15 years old, they would probably get some abuse for it. Personally, I'd say that 14 is pushing it but it's not really my business.

My gf is actually a little older than that, but not much. Which is odd, because I generally don't even have the time of day for people younger than me, let alone actually being interested.

As a rule, I tend to stick with women within 2 years or so of my age.

I'm 25 and my boyfriend is 33. I always kinda prefer the rule that i'd never date someone younger than my brother who is 22.

Underage is underage, so best to stay away until she's legal. As far as when they are legal, try to stay within a ~5 year age difference or else you'll pretty much be bickering over generational differences (like my folks).

Personally, I just stay away from the teens (18 and 19). The twenties are the better years, as they have had time to grow out of their immature tendencies and become more appealing individuals.

I came to the horrible realisation that the freshers at my university seemed like children when I was in my final year.. I'm 23, now, and I couldn't date an 18 year old, just off the bat.

Naturally, if I'd got to know well them without having a relationship in mind and then a relationship organically evolved, I could most likely pull myself round to that score, having started seeing them just as a person, rather than a young person.

Last bit of slap and tickle I had was with a lady of 26, though. I think I'm enjoying the benefits of looking about 30 (due to my beard).

Well when I was a kid, if you were 15 you could go down to 13. That was of course, if you could figure which end went in which orifice. However, once you hit the big 16, there was only greater than and equal.

Of course, that was a long time ago, I'm sure kid's are having sex a lot younger now. Fuck, I'm willing to bet half the babies born these days are no longer virgins.
