Obvious April fool is obvious! I'd love to see Vanilla Ice break back into acting by playing the Flash.

I remember way back when there was a rumor about Ryan Reynolds playing The Flash, which would work great if it was Wally West rather than Barry Allen

But of course now that he's playing Hal Jordan in the the Green Lantern film, it's pretty unlikely DC would cast him for another superhero role

Although DC seems to not be going in for the whole interfilm continuity thing like Marvel's doing so it wouldn't be too odd

Yeah, I remember that. I thought it was pretty ironic that he ended up being Green Lanturn instead (I really, really hope that movie doesn't suck).

I suggest they have Ryan Reynolds, as previously noted. "But he's already playing the Green Lantern," you say. Don't make me laugh. Have you seen The Parent Trap from 1998? It's been more than a decade since then. I'm pretty sure they can have Ryan Reynolds do double duty when the inevitable Justice League movie gets greenlighted.
