Yamada woke the next morning early again. He felt the stiffness n his body and decided it was time to get back on track. He stood, showered and made himself a decent breakfast and lunch before heading downstairs for run. He wondered if any of the others would be there too. He didn't particularly mind if they weren't. He could use this time alone to go over the past few days properly.
He started running as soon as he got downstairs not wanting to wait. There was only so much time before class anyway. Something still bothered him about Seiya's false death, but he wasn't sure just what it was since most of the topics related to it had been discussed. The doppelganger, the fight, the tunnels, sponsors, Kurado, their involvement. Seiya's involvement.
He had intended to inspect the AMP the night before but something hd stopped him, bothered him about it so, unlike his usual attitude about work he put it off. He told himself he'd look at it when he finished his run.
What was bothering him more than anything about this situation, however, was the rest of their collective team. Their ideas were wildly different and sometimes rather far removed but they got the job done. Usually. It still bothered him. The situation was resolved now, but the fact that he'd agreed to run bothered him. There was no way to have gone down there alone with his level of experience. He was sure that Seiya and Kurado would have been far ahead of him even if he did but it would have proved a point. No one in the group took him seriously. Miizushima a Eber were fine with him, Ishikawa was volatile toward everyone, but after that night he looked at him differently, or rather tried not to look at him at all, and Yoshida. Yoshida and he had been rivals previously before, but something was different about him, but just as angry, hateful and now he had Ishikawa to latch to. The two of them were far too much to handle as a pair. He was unsure if he'd ever heard much of any opinion come from Junsui, but she was all too eager to follow those two fierce avengers of nothing. They were always so angry and determined to do something about, but he wasn't quite certain they even knew why they were angry. He was starting to suspect that they just felt more comfortable that way.
If things continued on the way they were now he wasn't sure that he could handle this group as it was. He hoped that having appointed an official leader, having a room to their own, and having the backing of the Student Council secretary would put them on track, maybe give them new perspective, direction. He wasn't sure if that's how it would go, but he hoped that it would
Whatever happened though he wasn't going to run again if he could help it. He had no intention of being fool-hardy and just rushing in on his own. If there was no choice he wouldn't stay to just die, but if there was he swore he'd fight valiantly.
That thing that had overtaken Seiya two nights ago now had been fearsome, wretched. He could hardly believe that something like that could ever come from something like her. He needed to talk to her alone. Try and understand the nature of their personas better. He stayed deep in thought during the run, hardly noticing his surroundings at all.
