Yamada, hearing everything going on inside edged, wide-eyed to the door to hear better. Yoshida was even more foul than usual. How dare he be so disrespectful of Seiya?! He was sure that anything she'd done was for the best. Ishikawa was louder than usual too, but also more informative.
Something in his brain clicked then, hearing some of the keywords. Tunnels, trains, Igor, Shadows. His jaw tensed hard, trying to process it all. The trains. The personas. His brain flashed back to the man at the riverside and he shook his head in disbelief, but didn't move away. They'd all had dreams like his too, then? Could any of them explain any of this, and if they could, would he want them to?
This was pure insanity. None of this could be happening. He wanted to believe that. Wanted none of it to be real, but the things that they were saying seemed just a bit too close to home for him to ignore. Ishikawa said that Seiya was down there too? Impossible. There's just no way...but somehow he didn't believe that either.
There were more to be awakened. He'd just said that too. Was he supposed to be one of them? He couldn't imagine working with that group of people, but if they were all battling an evil bigger than each other he supposed he understood how and why they were working together in the first place.
The other thing that bothered him about this was Igor and that woman, Eleanor. They'd been so clear, realistic, in his dream. They were real too? He said that there was an entrance in the mall to the Velvet Room? He'd want to investigate, but decided then and there that if these people were going to those tunnels tonight he was going with them, even if they didn't know it, but for now he needed to hear more. He was in a sort of shock at hearing any of this.
