I rely on the social order to not have body hair to make money!

if guys expect women to have their body hair removed then we can expect dudes to have to remove body hair. Guys are starting to take care of themselves more and body hair gives off the impression that I do not take care of myself.
I will NOT shave my legs for you Dex-Dex!
My back on the other hand...
I feel it's a matter of personal standards: I will keep my chest hair thank you very much, but I've got no problem with other guys doing it. I'm more put-off by pasty complexion and fatties (god they loathsome creatures!) than by hair.
<spoiler= and as for the apparent double standard between body hair on men and women> Men have Chest hair to keep them warm at night: Women don't need it because they have US to do that :p
your comment on having a man sweater to keep us warm and we don't need your man sweater because we just steal the sheets.

People without hair on their chest are just more highly evolved we don't need hair to keep us warm we have clothes.

I have a weird amount of chest hair, it's this odd inbetween kinda thing.

Good thing only one person sees it, and she doesn't mind. :p

THE IDEAL WOMAN
First off...holy shit, THAT is the giant statue from the auction house in Hellboy 2! Now that's out of my system.

One word: ew! I can't imagine ever finding anyone fat sexy. Like, at all. Shallow of me, perhaps. But flab is never an attractive feature on somebody.

I just don't grow it, and for right now the fashionable thing thing is to have a bare chest, maybe a little hair but for the most part not much.

Are you having a laugh? Some men don't grow chest hair... I thought that was pretty obvious? People are different, some can't grow facial hair properly (few people notice this as having a shaved face is fashionable), some men go bald, while others don't, some guys have hairy backs and shoulders. Don't judge other people by your ridiculous standards

This may seem abit hypocritical of me, but I recently came to notice that in numerous videos and photos I see, most men I see shirtless have absolutely no hair on their torso, none.

What's up with that? I'm legally an adult in the US and I got a buttload of hair on my chest, I'm serious.

Well, some hairless-chested people I can understand if they have tattoos or something, but I don't know why I find it so suddenly wierd when I see this on people and another wierd thing, is that everytime I see a hairless shirtless male, I suddenly think Wallabee Beetles from Codename: Kids Next Door, probubly becuase of how in Deviantart how he has probubly enough fanart pics of him shirtless to shame Edward from Twilight (oooh, edgy!), and yet he's 10 years old (though some pics show him being older), makes me worry quite abit.

But anyway, what's up actors have no hair on their chests whenever they appear shirtless?
Smooth chests are more attractive to the target audience. Duh.

I personally don't have any chest hair due to family genetics. Nor do I want any, because sweaty chest hair is the most disgusting thing that could happen to my body aside from genital warts(both of which happen to 70s male porn stars).

I personally prefer no body hair - a happy trail, fine. Armpit hair, okay. Chest hair - I'll gag. Literally. I can't touch the stuff.

Are you my long-lost Russian brother?

Seriously, I have quite a decent amount of hair in certain areas of my body (legs, head, face, arms) but I really don't have that much on my torso. It's kinda weird.

OT: I think that having a hairy chest isn't currently seen as being "attractive". Or at least amongst the "average" women. Probably similar to how the ideal woman is shown having a larger bust.

A lot!

Anyways: Some people just...can't grow chest hair?
People with a lot of chest hair...it just looks too hairy.

Man, I'm the same way. I feel like a mutant or something with such hairy legs, and less hairy arms, but an empty chest.
Oh god, I'm not alone!
It's like gravity took a serious toll on my hormones.

Check out the recent threads regarding feminism. What's been happening to women for centuries is now happening to us. The Jersey Shore guys all use spray-on tan. Justin Bieber is 17 years old (a revelation for me), which means he has no excuse for anything about the way he looks. And the Twilight dudes are held up as a standard of male beauty.

Now don't get me wrong, if you look like Steve Carrel in The 40-Year-Old Virgin I wouldn't begrudge you for doing a little waxing in the chest area, but we're approaching a time when it will come to be expected of everyone. I for one am not planning on getting rid of the hair around my nips any time soon
