Sonic games are really weird like that...I personally liked Sonic 06 despite its many, many, many flaws (well...partially because of them) but other than that, Secret Rings and Black Knight were unplayable for me because of the controls...but the soundtracks were solid up until you heard the title song umpteen times.Aeshi said:Quite a few different Sonic games come to mind. I think Sonic Team's Sound Director guy is probably the most competent person there.
I agree with this: I couldn't stand the game part of the game but the soundtrack was great. I didn't make it past...or to Undyne...can't remember if I actually fought her or not.Redryhno said:Unpopular opinion, but Undertale. Terrible game to force yourself to play through, but the soundtrack is good all around.
I was gonna mention this one.Dreiko said:Unlimited SaGa. Best soundrack in the series composer history, worst everything else. Most notable was the slot machine combat system where even basic actions like heals and nornal attacks required you to get the correct slots to line up.
Incidentally, a new, nonshitty SaGa is in the works, really looking forward to it.
Kinda cheating though, considering its mostly licensed metal track (oh, but what a selection of metal tracks)hermes said:Brutal Legend
Ok, maybe "shitty" is a little harsher than it deserves, but at least mediocre.
