Occacionally while playing a game I'll come to, what I think is, an interesting conclusion about a game or a couple games. They're never substantual enough for a full thread, however.
So, why not a thread just for short (or long) statements regarding gaming that either don't offer enough discussion value or are too short to justify a full thread.

Mine are:

I don't mind the Strike Force missions in Black Ops 2 because they should have been in XCom where they belong.

I consider XCom the unofficial Mass Effect 3.

I actually like Kane and Lynch, or at least the idea of them, because I'm tired of playing handsome, short brown haired, late-20-somethings, who never lose their composure.

Mirror's Edge is awesome and I don't find 1st person platforming to be difficult.

Dishonored quickly became a favorite of mine despite the awful texture problems on the xbox.

SW: The Force Unleashed on the Wii makes me feel like an awesome super powered beast of a man.

Rayman Origins was one of the hardest games I've ever played, and I loved every minute of it.

The Sly cooper series was amazing, they were great platformers that mixed together stealth and combat quite well despite it's age and I truly believe it deserves more recognition.

Mirror's Edge's level design is at odds with its gameplay mechanics.

Battlefield 3's campaign offers occasional glimpses of a more interesting game but unfortunately never manages to rise above being a prettier Call of Duty clone.

Kirby's Epic Yarn is an underrated game which has a very unique art design and concept.

Metal Arms: Glitch In The System was a very fun third person shooter with lots of cool weapons, enemy variety, and plenty of humor that sadly, was overlooked by very many people.

League of Legends is the most aggravating piece of shit game ever. Yet I just can't keep my hands off it DX

Mirror's Edge is amazing and anyone who says otherwise has no fucking idea what they're talking about son!

Far Cry 2 was absolutely ruined by the lack of fast travel coupled with the endless respawning enemies in jeeps.

Uncharted 3 is absolutely batshit stupid in the last 3 or so hours. Nathan Drake pulls God Mode shenanigans out of nowhere.

MGS3 HD on 360 is an unplayable mess. The controls are so, so bad. They feel better than I remember on the PS2 which is the sad thing. You try The Fear boss fight with such a shit gunplay system... It works when used strictly in a stealth environment but anyone who decided to make a boss who jumps around you while being invisible needs to be shot.

Bayonetta is AWESOME and is a better Devil May Cry than Devil May Cry could ever be.

I actually loved the controls in MGS3 for 360. They're obtuse at first, but when it comes to advanced techniques they actually offer a lot of freedom and control. CQC is an especially deadly tactic when you get used to it. But I guess to each his own.

In terms of The Fear, I heavily suggest using the thermal goggles to see him at all times. I don't think I've ever tried any other way, it must be pretty hard. If you're going for a non lethal run, you can toss rotten food or poison food at him when his stamina gets low and it'll finish him off pretty fast.

It's weird because I'm playing Peace Walker on the 360 now and I found the controls for that a downgrade compared to MGS3 where you can crawl and sidle-walk and drag hostages around, etc. I think the only thing that would make me like the MGS3 controls more is if they had a way to crouch walk. They added that in the 3DS version though apparently.

Mirror's Edge's parkour system is actually pretty good.

Mirror's Edge's parkour system is the only thing I really like about Mirror's Edge.

Planetside 2 is pretty unbalanced.

Batman doesn't take fall damage, does he? ... Nope, guess not.

Assassin's Creed II/Brotherhood(haven't played the others yet) would be a lot more balanced if they didn't throw money at you every chance they got.

I really wish people would stop proclaiming Silent Hill 2 as the best game in the series. I still find the original to be a more enjoyable and overall superior game.

Playing the first three Resident Evils with a keyboard seems to yield much better responsive controls then if you use a controller.

I spent way too much time as a teenage playing the Tekken series. I've pretty much got all characters move sets memorised(or at least their 6 or so best moves and combos).

Red Alert 2 is still my favourite RTS. Though Tiberian Sun is fun too(and it has Michael Biehn in it, which is awesome.)

The Adventure Time game was fun but relied on the show for to much of it humour.

We need a new Klonoa.

Pokemon needs more mechanics.

Yer, I'm very un-opinionated at the moment.

I've already clocked three hours into Borderlands 2 without even starting the second story mission. I may never complete this game.

Pumping in moar Mirror's Edge love.

Yahtzee needs to work on his depth perception, Mirror's Edge's platforming is easy.

Mirror's Edge is best played in pacifist mode - this includes no knockouts. I'm down to a zero kill four knock-out run.

The final room of XCOM is a total crapshoot if you enter it at the end of your turn. Thank GOD I wasn't on Iron Man mode.

More people should play and like Myst.

Yeah, of the original 3 I would rate the first as the best one then silent hill 3 then 2. While I do think that silent hill 2 had better characters and a better story then 3, Silent Hill 3 had an atmosphere and feel for me that was much closer to the first Silent Hill.

I dunno, there is just something that SH2 lacks that doesn't give it the same mood and tension that's in the other two Silent Hills.

I think that part of it is that I found the monsters really easy to deal with in SH2(they just seemed really slow and stupid to me) which really didn't give me a sense of danger or urgency(except for when pyramid head was around).

And I think all the long walking and elevator sequences just completely killed the pacing for me, which just sucked all of the tension out of the game.

Gameing fandoms are full of very vocal people that often shoot their mouth off. They will never admit when they have done so though.

I know, right? She's too adorable, it's not fair.

OT: The psychic enemies in Metro 2033 can go to hell. Probably one of the only times I've ever rage-quit a game so thoroughly that I uninstalled it from my hard drive.

I never found the free-running in Mirror's Edge to be as trial-and-error as everyone complains about it being. Certain locations while being chased by police, maybe, but in general I never thought it that difficult or annoying.

If Deus Ex: Human Revolution had had a well-implemented melee system that included lethal and non-lethal attacks, it would probably be my favorite first-person game ever. (Granted, that's asking a lot, since there are very few FPS' with a decent melee combat system.)
