3. 99% of them, namely Twilight.
I would play a Twilight MMO as long as it had A) PVP and B) true character death and corpse looting similar to Diablo 2's "hardcore" mode. Destroying fangirls' lovingly crafted Edward clones and taking all their stuff would be an amazing gaming experience.

I'm afraid Indy isn't good enough. I want a full 3D, player-on-player battle based MMORPG that spans the entirety of the established Pokemon world.

oh yeah! I forgot the other thing besides a Pokemon MMO that I'd like to see! a .Hack// MMO! oh sure, they had an ORPG sort of game that was reminiscent of the quadrilogy (stand back, I'm making words!), but it was only out in Japan.

I'd like to see a full out real MMO version of "The World" in the .Hack// series. And if gameplay was reminiscent of the G.U trilogy, it would be really cool.

The Ogre Battle saga, but probably if they released some more games to help develop the story, constructs and classes to a point where they're more stable.

I'm also thinking it'd be best being some kind of 'you control a whole team' thing like the games themselves, not the one-toon-timesink that most MMOs do. It's not that the single-person formula is bad or anything, I just think it'd be impossible to balance all the classes for PvP like WoW and other games try to do, as well as the fact that it might work more easily if you're using whole teams and such, the way the games of the saga do.

You could raid things all on your own, or toss one/a few of your units in with some pals and do some map-scrolling multiplayer stuff, or something.

This isn't a franchise idea, but more of a concept for it to be built upon.

What if there was an MMO where you were a sergeant or some other type of squad leader and you and your squad were the people you equipped? If done properly, it could work for a variety of themes, but I like WH40K the most.

I would like a fallout MMO. But you've said non-RPG games and the like, so i'd go with the movie angle instead, perhaps Blade would make a good MMO, 3 classes to start with Vamp, human or Hunter, if it was well done it could work to a certain degree.

as a slight off topic, (although not anymore cos the original post was edited) worst possible game to turn MMO?
Mario?
There is a Fallout MMO.
Its called Fallout Online
Fallout 2 engine
Quite fun

I thought that was held up in all sorts of rights issues and lawsuits, since interplay was doing it and Bethesda wanted it, or something. Unless you are talking about something other than this, sir? http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Project_V13

Last I heard of it Bethesda were trying to sue over the rights but the case is still under way.

that's what I heard as well, however, take a look, according to that link, "On December 10, 2009 the Maryland District Court decided to deny Bethesda's request for preliminary injunction. Interplay is therefore able to continue development on the project until the case is finished."
