Boxing is a thing for true physical men (and some women) who want to compete and exert themselves, who want to feel the excitement of a fight without killing or serious injury being the intent. And the kind of person who is in the medical profession will never see boxing the same way as they do.
For boxers its a sport. It gives them a feeling of achievement and lets them feel like they have used their bodies for something in an increasingly sluggish and automated world. Medical types who are not interested in mastering and improving their bodies to the same degree as these athletes will never see boxing the boxers way. They will see it as a risk to health and safety.
Ban boxing on the day supermarkets, television and car's are banned.
