I am watching the Last Airbender series and I was reminded of the godawful movie that was released not too long ago. I literally felt an instant wave of anger and hatred that made my blood pressure rise. Then I also thought of several games that just should have never seen the light of day.

Sonic the Hedgehog (the newer version)
Virtual Boy
N-gage
Pluto Nash
Son of the Mask

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories through Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. Starting with CoM, the story began to grow progressively more idiotic, to the point that the overarching story is now convoluted and stupid to the point of being patently insulting to the intelligence of the player. I'd be much happier if everything after the first game was just wiped out of existence.

Ditto for Mega Man X6 through X8. X5 was the perfect ending for the series (and was indeed intended by Inafune to be the final game of the series). Everything after just reeks of milking the franchise for cash.

Sadly...I'll have to say GTA 4 did not need to be made. It had no reason to really exist other than making money off the franchise...maybe a tech demo.

Second on the list goes to Advent Rising. ...not because it's particularly bad, but because it's the only existing part of the trilogy and it makes me kinda sad

100% agree with this.

I still hold the games after X5 to be non cannon, even if i do like Axl and command Mission.

These games have several things in common. Sickeningly repetitive gameplay,a very poor story, if any,and just poor writing (if any) and gameplay overall.

All three games were sequels to hated games. I didn't put the original because we could use the originals as "what NOT to do" templates. They were failed experiments, and should have been left to fade into obscurity.

Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic 06. People would probably still consider Sonic a good franchise going through a rough time, and not a fallen series trying to recover if it weren't for these.

Edit: Dragonball Evolution. ANY videogame movie ever made. Rock Band (if it wern't for that, Guitar Hero would have ended at 3). Vitrual Boy. The Zelda CDi games and Hotal Mario.

Same deal with Medal of Honor, but CoD gets enough redemption because it features an insane highlander with a mohawk.
