If you enjoyed it, buy it! Really, you don't need validation from a bunch of nerds online to do something you enjoy, especially if most of them think they can score cool points by insulting it.

So, yeah. If you wanna play, play. It sounds like you do, so pick up the basic box and try it out for the free 30 days that gives you - there are worse things you could spend your money on.
Nail on the head.

Oh i forgot to mention that i played Guild wars for 2 years, and got annoyed by the limited choices of appearance.

Seriously, if you're not Asian it's not super fun to complete the campaigns as one.

I have the factions game of Guild Wars.

Only you can decide if it's worh it or not. I found my 2 years in WoW very much worth it. Sure I don't play it anymore, but no game lasts forever. I can tell you one thing: it's more fun to play with friends, finding a good guild or playing with real life friends can drastically improve your experience in WoW or any online game out there (including Guild Wars 2).

If you can afford it (and/or don't mind delaying buying the expansions), and if you enjoyed the trial, by all means buy it. It can occasionally be a time sink, to be sure, but it's not the hyperbolic crack-substitute people on the internet are fond of describing it as.

As for server...I recommend going with an RP server. Despite the name, I've never run into any roleplayers on, say, Steamwheedle Cartel, and I've also never witnessed confirmation of the horror stories of people playing on normal servers (and PvP ones don't interest me).

I tried it, and it got old, fast.

Can't you just find a good free equivalent?
There are no GOOD free equivalents of World of Warcraft.
Trust me, I know.
Seems that you've missed Guild Wars then, that's what i started with, and its great fun, it's even better than WoW in alot of departments, only major difference is the amount of content, but comparing the price from buying just Guild Wars then being able to play for as much as you want, compared to WoW where you buy it then pay for each month, it's as good as WoW, it all depends on the amount of content you need, so if you plan to play Alot, then WoW is better cause it has more content, but its much more expensive.
Guild wars isnt FREE anyway, as the person above you was talking about.
Also I strongly suggest buying wow - Just be VERY careful not to play too much or you will be sucked in and addicted.
I said free as in no subscription fee, which is the norm when it comes to big MMO's, but yeah, technically it isnt free, as it costs a small sum to buy in the first place.

Try nightfall, it has more content and helpful NPC's. I could try and find my free trial key if you want.

No. Trust me, I thought it was fun at first, but once you realize you're doing the same thing over and over, it gets old. All they add is more of the same. Nothing new....ever

It's a great game, and if you liked the trial you'll probably like the rest of it too.

Yes, level to 80, experiance raiding then stop. It's fun, don't be put off by levels 1-20.

Well I've played the trial with a few days left, and now I've come to wonder:
Should i buy WoW and possibly BC and Wrath of the Lich king?

Now this will cost most likely 800 kr, that equals to 80 £.

So my question is, is it worth it, could you please post some highlights of the game/s and your personal views?
I was interested in playing as the rogue, and also, could you recommend a server for me to play on? (not PvP please)

If anyone wants to calculate 800 kr to US dollars the rate is 6 kr for a dollar.
Yeahh its good fun. A tip though, just get BC, theres not much point in WOTLK until you're a really high level. BC will get you 2 new races though.

You're an idiot sir.

I know people from all walks of life who play WoW, half of what you would call popular kids do at my collage. Hell, I do, and i have lots of friends and go out a lot. Its just a game, only the weak minded would get addicted.
