Unless you're desperate to get Left 4 Dead, Fable 2 or Dead Rising then obviously more games.

Also, just saying but your title will get you flamed or banned (probably).
Im a ps3 owner and i want those 3 games so much but i wont spend that much on another console just for 3 games
Well the contest is really MGS & FF & Uncharted 1+2 & R+R2 & Motorstorm 1+2 & Heavy Rain & God of war vs. Gears, Fable, L4D & Dead Rising & Mass Effect.

Don't overly like Gears or Fable but L4D and the cost does it for me.
FF can go fuck itself for or i care same with gears
I love my ps3 for MGS,Uncharted, and other exclusives and ive just been on sony for years anyway
I took the liberty of adding good games as your opinion is biased.
*I highlighted the good games.
I'd certainly question your description of Uncharted, Motorstorm and Mass Effect as good. Big and highly produced, certainly. But then hell, I wouldn't class Fable II, Gears, MGS or FF as particularly great either. But then I only really like the 1% of games as is.
Motorstorm was the first game to do offroad racing perfectly.
Mass Effect was an amazing RPG with great gunplay.
Uncharted was pure treasure hunting epic. I would even go so far as to say it was better than Tomb Raider.

Final Fantasy 13, from what we know, is set to be amazing and innovative to the FF series (also being the next console generation with outstanding specs helps to.

Gears 1 (Strongly feel that 1 was great were as 2 is poor) introduced the cover mechanic and had great weapons. To top it off it had fun multiplayer.

MGS4, while not being anywhere near as good as it's predecessors still had a great story coupled with great gameplay and cinematics.

Fable 2 is, for me, plain bad and isn't worth being defended.
Gears introduced the cover system?
gamers these days...
Sure it wasn't the first but it was the game to make other devs introduce it to almost all TPS games. (Kind of like Halo wasn't the first with regenerating health but it stillis the game which caused it).
