I was wondering if i should get infamous 2 because i was really looking forward to it but some reviewers said it wasn't very good what do u guys think.

And the reviews have been almost universally positive. I don't know where you are looking. The game is great in my opinion.

unless you hate fun in your games, get it, it's awesome and one of the few games where i didn't mind playing through twice to get achievements.
the only criticism i can come up with is the lackluster story (strong beginning, drawn out middle and an ending where i am not sure why certain characters did certain things) and the fact that in cutscenes cole can't switches between psycho murderer and MacNice.
also: some people miss the skyscrapers from infamous1, new marais is rather flat, overall.

Watch yahtzee's review if you need a opinion. He liked it and it's one of his better recent reviews.
And 83 is fantastic. People need to stop thinking on a 70 - 100 rating scale.

It's like the first one. But improved. Metacritic 83 is very good.
Suckerpunch is a good developer and they make quality products, they're not quite Blizzard level legendary yet but they are definatly one of the best and most underrated console dev's in the business.

It is the same play style but with slight improvements and the ending...man, the ending (no matter which you choose) will stick with you for a long time and--unless you have no soul--will bring tears to your eyes. I honestly can't see what reviewers wouldn't like it, unless they didn't like the first one.
If the answer is no, then there's no point in getting the second one.

It's an excellent game. I honestly have no idea why it's not seen as being in the same league as the very best of the PS3 exclusives like Uncharted 2.
