I currently have team fortress 2 on the orange box for my xbox, and i was wondering is it worth it to get for the computer. I don't want to wait a year or so for the downloadable content on the xbox or to have to pay for it. I'm just wondering if every other game you go into, some 10 year old who has no idea what he's doing is hosting an all engineer match.

TF2 is actually incredible on the computer. Don't trust the xbox version, it's almost a joke compared to how well the computer version was.

More people play the PC version and it has the new maps. However, the updates tend to make the game a little unbalanced. Then again, I've only played it a couple times a friends house so I'm not entirely sure. Still, I've heard Counterstrike is better then TF2, though I still recommend TF2 PC, especially the TF2+GMOD package.

TF2 is on Xbox & PC
TF2 PC > TF2 Xbox

Logical conclusion? You should get it for PC.

If you enjoy the X-Box port, you will love this original version.

I absolutley agree with the others, the pc version is splendid.
Very very much fun, the classes are balanced neatly (Sorta) and the humor is dorky but feels right at home.

Do what I do and pirate first, buy later. Just find a nice Hamachi server to play on and if you like it, go ahead and buy it.

The PC version is much better than the console version. This goes for every valve game.

ya get it for computer. the user generated maps are usually pretty good, and fps games are usually better on pc anyway with the mouse.

If you enjoy the Xbox port, the original version will make your head explode in sheer amazement, especially if you get in on some of the custom maps. The DLC alone extends the game life, with unlocks, over 3 times the original maps, and 200+ achivements. It sounds like a review but I guess I am trying to promote it here; get it now.

Well, I only played one of the Orange maps. It was so epix, it was like 10 hour games.

Too bad I couldn't find that map anymore and quit.

Deffinately PC. You get the updates straight away. Plus Valve games are born for the PC.

Both versions are great, but the PC version is superior. It has unlockable weapons and hats (funny). Most of the times I had played had little to no lag. It's a good buy for 20 dollars, and, in my opinion, is worth the buy completely.
