Deny. Maybe the rest of the UK does but down South in Devon/Cornwall (where I live) there are lots of nice sandy sheltered beaches, and in fact many places up North too, but it's generally colder up there. Does get up to 30 sometimes where I am. Don't like that though, far too hot.

OT: Yeah, mind your own business, unless you see some shady dude with a camera, then report him.

I guess its just how I grew up in the US. I know some Americans have gave it their ok, but I just don't feel comfortable with a 9 year old being naked, I get little kids(2-5) being innocent and all, but I think 9 is pushing it.

He's from the U.S. There's a pretty strict taboo about child nudity here unlike in other countries. Even though I don't personally take issue with it, I wouldn't encourage this behavior given the waves it would cause. Hell, some Americans have issues with breastfeeding. We sexualize pretty much any display of nudity in the U.S.

If I were the OP, I'd try explaining to them that, however innocuous it may seem, a fair number of Americans will have strong objections.

Back when I was a kid it wasn't uncommon for kids to run around naked on hot days. 9 seems a little old but eh, I don't think there's any argument for abuse here. The parents should be cautious of who can see their kids and so forth but if the kids are comfortable I don't see the harm, at least until the onset of puberty.

Of course I have had the same problem so I just had people over all the time. Nothing more funny to me than an upstairs neighbor that wants you to keep it down when they blare their shitty music all the time.

I don't live in apartments and I'd rather call the cops then start a 'war'.

I've also called on folks for letting their dog crap pile up so much that their dogs can only lay down on their dog house.

Oh hell yeah it would. Really think a child molester is going to pass up a naked kid, thats like christmas coming early.

If a child molester was going to go to all the trouble of abducting a child, the child being naked would play very little in that decision.

Fun fact. A child is more likely to get molested by a family member than a complete stranger.

It's tricky to get the cops involved because that makes you a target and a snitch. There are people that will back off, then there are others that will wait to you leave your house. Stupid neighbor of mine one time took a baseball bat to this dudes truck because he called the cops on him.

Haha same happened to me in Spain. Except it was an old bald guy that decided that right there and then was the perfect time to change into his speedo by first stripping down completely nude.

My first experiences were much more enjoyable. We went to the beach in Venice. It's actually a sand beach, too! Not American sand mind you, but good enough to go barefoot. Anyway, there was a group of guys about my age playing with a soccer ball on the beach in Speedos and square cuts.

Our beaches are pretty shit yeah.

Well, I don't see the big deal with it. Depending on where you live, it's freakin' hot. It's 90 where I am and kids tend to be naked, it's just what kids do (Especially under 5). They don't understand modesty. Nothin' wrong with it, legally unless someone is like, er, molesting them or something.

Pretty much not saying your giving all that info. Every once in awhile you get somebody that becomes the snitch detective. Of course some people have nothing better to do than find out who called the cops on them. Pretty out there and not true, but I have seen it happen. Literally remember another time that this bouncer looking dude came to my door all pissed off. Eventually I told him it wans't me that called the cops on him and he stormed off.

Doesn't bother me, I was bullied most of my childhood, I know how those idiots work.

If someone is stupid enough to attack me, they'd better kill me because I'll take everything they own.
