No. It is a phone that has games. Not a game system. It's purpose in life is not games and things surrounding games and its not a pc.

I love my iPhone to death, but all the articles about them being a serious gaming medium really piss me off. I don't consider the equivalent of flash games as revolutionary or serious at all and I highly doubt that I'm going to start playing it over my PS3/DS/PC anytime soon. Well, not unless they put an Ace Attorney game on the app store.
