We all know the KOTOR series is awesome (shut up, yes you do, don't question me). Unfortunately, KOTOR II was never finished the way the creators wanted it. They had to cut some parts of the plot (even an entire planet!) to meet the deadline. So, do you think Bioware should re-release KOTOR II with all of the parts the creators wanted to be added in? If so, how should it be released?

Yes. Easily. KOTOR is not something to fall away to darkness, it should go down in the annals of gaming history. They should release it as a "Director's Cut" the way they do with movies. Or perhaps just tag is as an addon in Xbox live and on the PC so that when you play the game, the new path is taken

I believe there's a modder group who got most of it done, so you should try searching for them. More on topic, I would rather a KOTOR 3 come out and explain what happened to Revan rather than a revision of the General's story.

Hmmm that is an interesting question. I think, if re-releasing it were even an option, that they would go for the trendy thing to do nowadays and release it for both platforms, Windows and Mac, with some updated graphics and physics along with the material that they originally wanted in the game. But that is just my opinion.

That's exactly what I was thinking!

I would assume they have plans for KotOR if TOR takes off, it would seem silly to not put out a two disc remastered set of the first two. I would buy it.

It doesn't matter the game to me. If a developer had to cut something from the game, I have issue with that. It's not their "creative dream", so I'm all for them re-releasing it the way they originally intended to.

That was actually unexpected. I did not foresee you speaking on behalf of Star Wars.

That's why I had to specify that the game didn't matter. :p

Having not played the game in question made it difficult for me to word a response that would fit.

My response fit though, so I'm in the clear. :)

I would love that.

Obsidian had a good thing going with that game. Sure it was buggy, and the ending was just... ugh.

But still, the characters were interesting, the first 3/4ths of the game was fantastic, despite being bug-ridden.

Yeah, I would love to see it. Then again a modder group already basically restored everything. Team Gizka I think their name is.
Still though, some actual developer muscle would be great.

The ending they INTENDED would have been great. As it was, I don't think the ending was half so terrible as everyone gives it credit for. Perhaps a bit over-long, but it left alot of possibilities for KOTOR 3. honestly, I think the worst problem with the ending was that it implied a KOTOR 3, which will probably never be made.

I'm going to state the obvious.

I couldn't honestly remember if it was either BioWare or Obsidian that made KOTOR II.

Now I'm going to go cry in a corner.

Well then Obsidian should because they developed it. Either way, it needs to be re-released.
