The only scent on a man should be motor oil and gunsmoke :p

Get a womans opinion on the scent in question.

Seriously though, if that's what you want to do then do it. I'm sure that some of the poeple just on this thread alone do weird stuff that others wouldn't normally consider an option. It's just the way people are, it really isn't a big deal.

Chicks dig guys who smell good.
Body odor isn't good, by the way.
Oh and axe doesn't smell good. On occasion, Old Spice as a bodywash is acceptable.

In general, I don't like people smelling like fruit, but the Bath and Body works Amber makes a great manscent.

I hate men who think that girls will go crazy over them because they wear Axe. Colognes, scented lotions etc. almost always have a really pungent smell that isn't really pleasant to people around you.

Just wear generic deodorant. Cheap, does the job, and doesn't reek.

I would like to point out that not all Colognes stink. The cheap-shit, because it was probably made with shit. On the other hand, my dad payed an arm and leg for his, not one person has complained of its smell EVER.

Good boy, you get a cookie.
All good colognes are expensive.
However, not all expensive colognes are good, so watch out.

It's cool, smooth skin is a good thing. It's great to be able to touch a man without thinking of sandpaper.
Scented lotions can be a bit overpowering, and sometimes the cheaper, non scented ones work better. But it isn't a bad thing, as long as it isn't too strong.

I am naturally soft to the touch, most women ask what I do for my skin when they touch me. >.>

My soap smells like garlic so any other scent would be a boon to my hygiene for me. As long as it is a nice and "manly" scent (w/e that is) it shouldn't be an issue. For example: don't smell like any fruit or flower.
WTF do you use?

If it smells like healthy food (cucumbers, fruit, etc), it's unmanly. Man-lotion (snicker) should either be unscented, neutrally scented, or smell like meat.

There's nothing wrong with it. At least, I don't think there is. I fail to see the problem with smelling man-pretty.

Scent is just another part of apparel. Wearing a nasty cologne is like wearing a fugly hat. I agree with the folks here that smelling like a food or a flower is not a great idea.

Men wear lotion now? Damn I'm way behind in the times.
My thoughts exactly...
C'mon now, ancient greek dudes would wear scented oils, you're not behind the times, you're stuck in a moment. :p
