In some cases yes, but the current President, Shuntaro Furukawa is only in his 40s, and many younger executives were recently promoted as well. So there's a good amount of young blood at the company at least.
Young blood is no good if it doesn?t come with young ideas or perspectives.

Of course, but in recent years, Nintendo has been more adopting of many popular trends in modern gaming, even the Switch is the most modern looking and feeling Nintendo product released in years. If they don't adopt it, then they either test the waters, or say they're looking into it. Back in the Yamauchi era, they would've balked at the idea of game streaming or VR, saying that those are superficial garbage nobody wants or something.
