When I look up old video games i often have to look through wikipedia and see if they have anything. But I sometimes there not much. Like for example the "Ghoul Patrol" wiki page is fairly small and I dont know what the critics responses were nor what the average person reception was like. So should there Be a site like this for game (if there is not one already).

Well IMDB and rotten tomatoes are somewhat different sites, but I see what you mean.

Personally I don't really have any problems because, yeah, Wikipedia generally has all the info you want.

I thought that was what IGN was for well for the most part I guess once you get to old it sorta gets hard to find things

IMDB works for games most of the time.

As for as rotten tomatoes I'd say yes. Would be nice to have a clean, basic, quick to check site for getting general oppinions on games. I often look at the user reviews on gamespot which is close to the same thing though.

<link=www.gamefaqs.com>Gamefaqs and <link=wwww.mobygames.com>mobygames do everything IMDb does between them. Gamefaqs has most of it on its own, but mobygames has some of the more obscure info, equivalent to the home video release information on IMDb.

As for the review aggregating done by rotten tomatoes, that's metacritic's job. Gamefaqs also has user reviews, which tend to be pretty lengthy, with most games getting a fair few reviews that fall outside of the fanboy/antifan pattern.

I've looked up games on IMDB before, at the very least AAA games get added to it. It's a very facts-and-figures site though, with things such as release dates and (voice) actors being more importent than reviews and opinions. Still, as long as that's what you're looking for IMDB will provide.
