Should they make another Guitar Hero Game?

I was listening to one of my favorite bands today, (Avenged Sevenfold (R.I.P. Rev)) City of Evil to be precise, and it got me thinking, how does this band not have more songs on a guitar hero or have thier own yet. Any way, if they were to make another Guitar hero band, would you like it to be a wide genre of songs, or focusing on a specific band (my vote would be on A7X personnally)

Also, i have no idea if thier making another one already, if you have such info, feel free to shatter my dreams of an A7X GH game

Activision has been releasing these piece of shit games for years now and they've all been the same.

Just release track packs or downloadable songs or something rather then charging another 200 goddamn dollars for the same shit over and over again.

ONLY if they stop fucking splintering them. Take a que from Rock Band.... MAKE ALL THE DLC WORK WITH EVERY DAMN GAME. On the offnote, this whole Rock Band Beatles/Guitar hero: Metallica bullshit needs to stop as well. In the AGE OF DLC all of this could be downloaded.

oh that a tough one. i started wuth the seires at Guitar Hero 2, and followed it through Guitar Hero 3, then when World Tour and Rock Band came out I backed away, but my dad bought Rock Band and it was amazing. I played World Tour and it wasn't as good and from then on I stuck to Rock Band 1 and the steady flow of DLC that came. I'd like to see a Guitar Hero that basicly goes back to how Guitar Hero 2 was, and some good music would be nice.

There should just be 1 guitar peripheral, and a system on Xbox Live Marketplace for a band to sell their songs to anyone who wishes to play them. It would be like iTunes, except with buying songs you want to play Guitar Hero style.

Really, of all the Guitar Hero games, there's been about 1 song that I would buy the game just to play. I'm not spending $100 on the ability to play Du Hast, but I might drop $20 on a cheap guitar and $2 for a cheap single. Buy lots of cheap singles, and I have a Guitar Hero with a list of songs that I actually like.

Anyway, In answer to OP: No. Same goes for Harmonix. It's just the same thing but different songs. Now that they've introduced singing and druming, there ain't much more Activision or Harmonix can add (except for more cowbell. I've got this fever you see...)

I would allow one exception however, and that's if you can use your own music. But that would mean no more DLC, so no chance of that happening any time soon, if ever.

It's probably not going to count but ever since I first read about Rock Band: Japan on gameFAQs, I've really, REALLY wanted to see it made and released. I haven't heard any news on it in a while and it's still TBA as opposed to Cancelled but, I am still holding out hope. Guitar Hero is kinda played out though. There really isn't much more that can be done and even if they do insert Stairway to Heaven, finally, there really isn't much else that hasn't been used yet
