I bought my iPod Touch as a gaming device, and that's really all I use it for. I don't even have any music on it. The only non-game app I have on this thing is Netflix.
And y'know what, I consider my iPod more of a gaming device than some of the actual gaming devices I have. I own a device that releases a lot of great, fun, cheap, unique games every single week, and many games go on sale for free all the time. Just check the free page every now and then and you can get lots of free gaming entertainment.
...None of that is super relevant to this conversation, I just like pointing out because a lot of gamers I see still seem to have that foolish mentality that iOS games "aren't real games" (not that I am directly accusing anyone here of saying that)
Anyway, right now I have to agree simply based on the fact that...well...they didn't announce any games. Can't really call it a game system without games, right?
I'm sure the Xbone will have lots of fun expensive games that will not have any effect on my decision to not by the console, but I'm sure it will turn lots of other people around.
It seems like every console has this weird rocky period when it's announced or launched or whatever where fans are going "God, there are no games for this thing!!!" the only difference with the Xbone here is when fans say that...well...it's kinda literally.
