In games like Fable 2, Fallout 3, Grand Theft Auto, and Prototype(just to name a few) you can't kill kids. Should game designers let you be able to kill/hurt kids.

Is it really necessary to be able to kill a child in a game? It makes more hassle for the game developers, the retail stores where the games are sold, and the parents who SHOULD be paying attention to what their kids are playing.
