I visited the video archive and noticed that Doraleous and Associates is nowhere to be found. Same for Extra Credits. That leads me to wonder what other shows have vanished into thin air without any archive to back up their existence.

Please help complete this list:

1. Doraleous and Associates
2. Extra Credits
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?
...

Edit: I realize the reasons behind the demise of various shows may be public, but for someone new to this site, it is very hard to get an overview of the shows that have disappeared and are NOT archived in the video archive. That is what this list is for.

I wouldn't say Extra Credits "mysteriously" vanished.

It was all over the forums when it happened.

Extra Credits is currently at Penny Arcade and they've been uploading all of their episodes on Youtube, so archiving isn't a problem. I think the other show you mentioned is on Youtube as well.

What I'm wondering is what happened to Mr. Dunne's Encore article. Did he stop for a bit because of the Tinnitus putting a hold on his music for a bit there? Or was it given the heave ho?

Yeah, Extra Credits disappearance wasn't exactly up to Black Dahlia levels of mystery here.

They left rather unceremoniously in a dispute of some Rockethub thingymajig. They're over on Penny Arcade now.

Extra Credits left due to financial disputes.
Doraleous went on hiatus while John Etheridge did a side project, and their contract lapsed, or something similar.
The ones that made me the saddest were the loss of De-Rez, and Unforgotten Realms. (Half of you probably won't know what those are, damn kids!)

There are a few that still remember...

I still miss Unforgotten Realms. It was an absolutely fantastic series. The creator had so many various troubles, it's such a shame.

The second season wasn't as good as the first. It got a bit stale, I think.

You know what I miss? I miss Creature Caster Masters. Yes, two years after it stuttered abruptly to a halt, I still miss it.

... Or remembers it. :p

But yeah, none of these shows "mysteriously" disappears. It's all financial. :/

Rebecca Mayes Muses is still there, thank goodness. I doubt many people remember her at all, but I always really liked her. There are a lot of old series no one remembers anymore. Makes me sad. -oldscapist tears-

Also, yeah, EC leaving was kind of a massive deal when it left? Like, I never watched a single episode and I still heard about it. I have no idea how you're just now finding about it.

I really liked Creature Caster Master. That series was hilarious, but it only got 3 episodes. I also liked Unforgotten Realms, but that series got a good deal of episodes.

I loved her little songs and videos! What ever happened to her?

Other posters have already answered you. Extra Credits left because of financial disputes and Doraleous because of reasons. Now why they're not archived? Probably because Extra Credits is still going on on another site and the escapist doesn't have the rights (or desire) to keep it on here and the other show... No idea.

Man I love the archive, I;m rewatching Apocalypse Lane and laughing my ass off!

I hit it with my axe and top 10. I miss those two shows quite a bit.

EC was not a quiet departure, so I am sure most of the people here know why.

She struck out on her own from what I understand. According to her website she is currently recording a new album, at the least.
She played at the special Olympics over the summer, too.
And I do believe I heard her on a commercial for something or other fairly recently.

I miss Rebecca Mayes. I cant find her song "Monster" anywhere. Sad, too. It was my favourite.

Also, that team that gave the Nintendo SSB world a gritty mafia style reboot. that was nice, too.

Doralingus and associates are on Machinimas happy hour channel now, they are uploading a new episode out of their backlog each week, whilst working on new episodes

This would be fine if I still watched videos on Machinima, but I mainly went there for IGDaily with Matt Dannevik, and that dudes gone, thanks to Machinima deciding to go the way of G4... not smart
