Shows That Didn't Make It but You Loved Greatly

What about Arrested Development? Sure it had to be cut short but at least it lived long enough to tell the tale! What about the Dilbert cartoon? God I loved that show. Didn't even make it through the door without a network bullet in the knee, and didn't get much farther after that.

Such a good show! Happily, this thread reminded me to search it on Youtube, and I found it!

Jack and Bobby. Sadly, I wasn't able to really keep up with it but I really enjoyed it when I saw it. Too bad it only ran for one season. :/

Naturally Firefly has to make the list, also I wish Dead Like me had a 3rd season, rather than the movie. I can't believe no one has mentioned Wonderfalls yet, it was hilarious, intelligent, and it only lasted one season, though I've been seeing a trend that all the really intelligent shows seem to only last one or two seasons and then get canceled.

Huzzah! I was searching through this thread waiting for a mention of Wonderfalls. I think I discovered that show byh pure chance on Sky 1 one night. Sadly I've yet to have anyone I know not draw a blank whenever I mention it. Well, their loss I guess.

Yeah, sadly there is a serious lack of people that have watched this show. I can't even remember how I discovered it, but it is among my top ten TV show recommendations, though sadly very few people decide to listen to my recommendations and only those who I force to sit and watch some of them actually find that my recommendations are worth listening to. It's quite frustrating, honestly.

It'll never be good without Stephen Colbert. I loved that show, but have you ever seen the video game? Or even the last episode, where Phil comes back and everyone's excited, but then he has this creepy strange voice and everyone is let down and walks away? I'm pretty sure the show was canceled just because they weren't going to have him on it anymore.

I would have to agree......but can you imagine how awesome it would be?

Help. It was a hilarious show starring Paul Whitehouse and Chris Langham. It had Chris Langham as a psychiatrist and Paul Whitehouse as all his patients. It was bloody brilliant, but halfway through making the second season, Chris Langham got accused of downloading child pornography and the show was canceled.

It's impossible to find anywhere. Which is a shame, because it's brain meltingly funny.

Nothing kills your career quite like a charge for child porno.

I don't suppose Garry Glitter will be making a comeback any time soon either.

I was miffed that Farscape got cancelled. That was a good serious (Claudia Black is awesome too).

Unless you're Pete Townsend, evidently.

I fucking loved Life, thanks Jay Leno for getting it canceled then failing on your new show!

I would have liked another season of Carnivale. It was beautifully made and there was so much story there left to tell.

I would have liked another season of Xena:Warrior Princess because I hated the way it ended and I felt pretty fucking betrayed.

Years ago there was a show called Space: Above and Beyond. It was only one season and ended on a cliff hanger. That sucked.
