Incredibly biased to your own here.

Anyway, what are your favorite shows you used to watch, but don't like what they are now?
Take Thomas the Tank Engine for example. My favorite show ever. (Yeah I know it's called Thomas and Friends now but I don't give a -blam!-)

I'm not saying the CGI is bad but it feels really alien to me. The models and voices seemed more. natural and believable.

Also, Pokemon looks weird now...

the only thing I can think of is turing old stop motion shows into CGI

I don't really enjoy watching the old shows I enjoyed as a kid - they just feel exactly like they were made for children. However I have noticed massive quality gaps in them - so some like GI Joe, Transformers, Voltes V (which you may not have heard of) I understand why I enjoyed them as a child. Others like Thundercats and He-Man are embarrassing (voice-acting and animation wise) and make me wonder why I didn't notice the difference in quality.

Oh well - these disparities in quality weren't obvious to me as a child when it came to a lot of things so I shouldn't have been surprised.

I remember the Pokemon anime being friggin' awesome back when I was a child. Now? The voice acting, the overall cheesiness, the Pokemon constantly repeating their own name like a forgetful retard with OCD...I find it difficult to even get through one episode now, it's just so cringeworthy.

Pretty much every show made a long time ago, but then it was brought back, all changed to appeal to the next generation. THAT NEVER WORKS.

Cracked ruined Thomas the Tank Engine for me when they pointed out the whole show is pretty much an undercover commentary on how fucked up our particular brand of capitalism is.

Yu-Gi-Oh!, I liked it when I was 12 for a year. Now it seems just stupid.
Yu-Gi-Oh is still fucking awesome.

...The first 2 or 3 seasons, that is. I stopped watching it one day and 5 years later I was zapping through TV and one of the newer episodes was running. Well, what the fuck. Card games on motorcycles?

...

I MEAN, SERIOUSLY?
If you lose you crash and die! How is that not awesome! :D

Dexter's Lab come to mind. I loved that show as a kid, but upon recently re watching it seemed like crap to me. The voice acting constantly jumps from decent to god horrid (though they might of been aiming for that) and what really pissed me off was the "side shows" that occasionally aired. I came here to watch a boy genius, not mutant primates and Avenger parodies.

I still consider it one of the most important cartoons of its time, but it hasn't aged well in my eyes.

Pokemon has changed. It's better with less Pokemon, I'm not even sure how that's possible.

Ash, Misty, and Brock forever ;_;

That's what I came here to say. I remember being younger and thinking the concept was cool. Since when does sixth grade make you all grown up?!

But the classic Rugrats are still great.

Pokemon was ruined for me long before the 3rd season. It was ruined when I found out all the romance between Ash and Misty... was created by 4kids... I MEAN. WHY. WHY?!?! WWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Also, Digimon fucking sucks after the 3rd season.

The only one I can think of is Pokemon and I have seen alot of cartoon shows in my childhood.
I guess Captain Planet may count (I wouldn't say I love it but I did watch it as a kid) seeing how their effort to stop pollution and saving the wildlifes etc were all in vain in this present day.

Thomas the TANK ENGINE (It will never be friends to me) is mine. For the same reason actually. I miss those old wooden sets...
