Shulk in Smash

As much as I like Xenoblade Chronicles (consider it one of the best games ever made) I am not to hype for this Shulk himself is not an amazingly interesting character even less so when you rip out any character development.

What could have been great is the Monado but it looks like they havent utilised it very interestingly here I get why as it would have been difficult to keep it balanced (well you know not totally op). He also looks weird here Nintendoised id say (thank god theres a name for it).

I think that if they could not think of anything interesting for the Monado that would not break the game they should have used other characters Riki or any of the girls (Fiora after the incident) would have been more interesting the rest of the cast while fun in Xenoblade were kinda vanilla in their styles i.e just swords and such.

I am really looking forward to Xenoblade 2 I just hope they dont mess it up. At least they are acknowledging Xenoblades awesomeness though, with that game and The Last Story the Wii had two of the finest if not the finest RPGs of last gen only surpassed by Valkyria Chronicles if you count that as an RPG (which I dont).

So not hype but will keep an eye on the game but wont be getting it on release unless something major happens.

So it's basically the male version of the "Higher level skimpy chainmail bikini?

Isn't part of the high level chainmail bikini issue due to the fact that it comes in the end-game? As far as I remember, the swimming oil, which is what the Shulk outfit is based around, comes in the first area of the game, so I'm not sure it fits.

Going into battle half naked Dunban's thing really. one of his abilities is to get an agility/ agro buff from not wearing any sort of armor at all.

Yeah, I forgot about that. Dunban just never fit with my play style, so I wasn't able to memorize all of his abilities.
