Camp Rock.
Short but yet so utterly true. The shit that that movie spawned haunts me. The Jonas Brothers can go die in a hole. Their "music" (i almost cant call it that) is absolutely horrible.

Do any of you have friends, partners, siblings etc who have an unhealthy infatuation with something?
My partner is obsessed with The Joker from The Dark Knight and to be honest, it's annoying me now. It's completely fine to like him, but when you're constantly quoting him, acting like him and doing the mannerisms, that's taking it a bit too far.

So, I ask you; Do you know anyone who drives you up the wall with their obsessions?
Why so serious, EmileeElectro? Wanna see a magic trick? I'm going to make this pencil...disappear. :p

Srsly though, my younger brother's Sonic the Hedgehog obsession is as annoying as it is pitiable. He didn't even pick a good gaming series to begin with!

Twilight, Edward specifically, but I don't see that friend often enough for it to piss me off. I do also have a friend who takes the "if a joke's funny once, it's funnier the billionth time" approach to conversation, though. I'm blessed to have the majority of my friends have incredibly short attention spans. It makes for interesting conversations.

Guys in my math class refuse to shut up about farting. THAT one warrants a "shut the hell up."

Two words....Dane Cook
Isn't it Dave Cook? Either way if you mean the Comedian I feel for you mate. My cousin use to go on and on abouth how awesome he was and I didn't find him that great.

While I do not bother people with my obsessions I must admit to the following...

- I love Friends and have watched the entire series (yes every single episode) more than five times each.
- Recently went from being a NHL fan to being a fanatic where I watch multiple games at the same time.
- A few video games have made my frighteningly overplayed list. Lunar SSSC (twelve complete files, over thirty unfinished), FFX (seven finished, fifteen or so not), Halo 2 (Well beyond three thousand hours spent online)

Rap
People trying to be gangster (associated with rap >.> my girlfriend knows a 12 year old kid who calls her his ***** he used to be a good kid but like just recently turned "gangster" and it really REALLY makes me want to crush his fingers in a vicegrip)
Rap
People who ONLY play fps' like halo or CoD and call all other games shit due to there love of those fps'
Rap
People obsessed with fashion (I shall quote yhatzee on this "Fashion victims are one step below nematoads in the grand scheme of things")
Did I mention rap?

EDIT: OHHHH I forgot to mention I have an adamant hatred toward High School Musical lovers (Like my sister for example) oh god, how I wish to kill them all...

When Dave Chappell first did the Lil' Wayne impression on his show I wanted to kill 75% of my school. Everywhere I went it was "WHAT?" "OKAY!" "WHAT?" You're not Dave Chappell. Stop it.

There's one person in particular that's obsessed with spoiling movies for me. Although they'll preface it with "I don't want to spoil anything for you, but..."

Why even say that then? Put a period after "you" and leave off the "but". Because, right after the "but" the spoilers will come flooding on in.

Ah, well..
Oh I usualy have but for a good meaning take for example when I was talking with my friend about ffXII and she had just started we were talking about Cid for a bit and she said she loves the Cids in ff and i told her "I don't want to spoil anything, but Cid plays a... different role than usual" thats not spoiling spoiling woulda gave off his major role and the story >.>

My friends are obsessed with WoW....and it's annoying.
Some of my other friends are obsessed with the size of their ego's (no, not their dicks), and that's also annoying.

And of course, some of my friends are hannah montana freaks, and to be honest, it's hilarious.

People telling me, their gamerscore on xbox and what achievements i dont have but they do...yes you got it before me, sorry for going out in the sunshine...or rain, in Britain's case ¬¬

seriously it makes already competitive gaming even more competitive, especially when your friends wont shut up about it and when you tell them to stuff it suddenly your the bad guy...its not like he even liked his dog and how was i supposed to know puppies are allergic to a moving truck?

I have a friend that loves WW II,anything associated with it, and classic rock. It's not so bad.Though when you start a conversation about something and pause, he'll break in with something about WWII while you're in the middle of a sentence. If you re interupt him, he'll wait till you're done, say "yeah" real fast and then continue.

I love talking about history and stuff, but if I really found the panzer tank interesting because of it's ability to slightly lean on it's left side...I'd be watching all those stupid shows that I find so annoying on the history channel!

As for me, it rotates. I like alot of things and whe I get hooked, I'll be into it until the next big thing I find facinating.

I can't stand it when people go on about Twilight, I keep thinking to myself "It's just a Book, Jesus!" and then one of my friends (who is a guy) will ask me if I've read them and claims they are the greatest books ever written (I prefer longer, well written books even ones like Harry Potter) and I srsly want to kill him for it sometimes.
I also really hate anything that my friends wont shut up about, like Anime or Warhammer.

I will admit that i have a couple of obsessions, one of my friends has almost identical views on things to me and we like to talk about the lastest episodes of our favourite programs such as Heroes or Skins (A British Teen Drama kind of thing). Which often irritates some of our other friends. One of my friends used to really hate it when I talked about warcraft and as soon as we would start talking he would pretend he couldn't hear us

Wow.

All of my friends keep talking about
A) Getting to level 80
B) Killing the 80 foot eyesore
C) Their amazing helm of disintegration
D) Their mounts

Please, for my sake and your parent's credit cards sake STOP.

I feel your pain....

Also Twilight... I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't such drivel. Who the fuck ever heard of 1000 year old vampires who don't drink human blood, drive around in cars, when they should be able to fly (Volvo's too!) and keep going to high school just for fun? Talk about taking all the fun out of being a vampire!
