Custom-made longsword. It will be fully utilitarian first and foremost and will also take advantage of any possible modern developments in metallurgy to make it one of the toughest swords ever made. But I'll make sure it looks awesome as well.

I'd march to Skywalker Ranch and purchase Darth Vader's suit. I'd also buy a bulletproof display case to display it in.

It appears at the 0:30 mark.

I've already bought a 3D printer to fabricate it out in small sections, my plan is to start off with Imperial Guardsmen flak armour, Tau Fire Warrior gear and end with that.

I guess I'd go for a cool bed/chair or something. Something that would look cool, but I would also actually use it.

That one popular Snorlax beanbag comes to mind. You know the one.

I'd buy the rights to, and reopen, Dot Spot.

Dot Spot was an "arcade" in a local mall near my childhood home. But, it wasn't a "traditional" arcade. No, no. This was something all together different.

You see, it was essentially a big LAN party. They had rooms and rows of computers, all beefed up and linked together on a network, with entire catalogs of games installed. (you could even install your own, with permission, into temporary folders)

You would walk in and purchase "time cards". These cards would allow you a certain amount of time on any given terminal. (they were surprisingly cheap for the number of hours they gave)

I and a group of friends would go in there quite often. It was actually cheaper than building our own, supped up rigs and, in some cases, cheaper than buying everything we wanted to play.

They also allowed people to bring in their own computers, with certain security measures in place, of course.

The Mach 5.

And whatever security system that prevents anyone from stealing it.

That and the Batmobile. Adam West's Batmobile.

From a more "practical" standpoint: Every single Keyblade to ever appear in any Kingdom Hearts game in full scale recreation...

From a more "outlandish" standpoint: A football-size recreation of Equestria... (Don't know where I'll put it on the ground, so I'll have it be floating somewhere at cloud-level... and I'll just teleport from my current location to there from time-to-time...)

So, to all that I say... [HEADING=2]SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MUNNY AND BITS!!![/HEADING]

I haven't even watched Madoka Magica, but I want that poster (or at least I think it is a poster).
It is a figure, the detail is very impressive though, which is why it is do damn expensive.

Because you did not specify how much money, I would get a private zeppelin that I would then live in. I'm pretty sure airships fall under the purview of geekdom.
That works, the amount of money is simply outside your current price range.

I think for it to be considered truly geeky it'd need to be Steampunk though.

Ditto for me at the moment. Not so much the import fees (On Amazon the cheapest ones are like $110 factoring in shipping), but the cost in general. I'll just ask for it for Xmas I guess.
See, in the UK we have extortionate import fees for anything over a certain price. For an item that cost $110, we'd need to pay another $35 on top of that if it came from Japan for example.

I think I may pray that for once the UK actually gets something from anime, rather than needing to import it. It is fairly expensive anyway, but thanks to there being no computer games I want being released over the next year (indie titles excluded) I may be able to "justify" it to myself at some point.

Is it okay if I laugh though? Not in a malicious way, but when I see the URL has "Moe moe Garrus" in it, I cannot help it.

It was what gave me the idea for the topic's title in the first place.

I'd buy a pair of super high quality Bose headphones.

It's not like I can't buy them already, but they're like 360 bucks which is a bit too steep for just headphones. The sound is divine honey for the ears though.

I spend too much money on games to buy replicas of things from games.

But if I was loaded, Id probably cosplay as characters all the time...not for cons or anything. Id love to just go out dressed as characters from games.

Ehm, geeky things, right!

Well, I'm not entirely sure, come to think of it. Perhaps a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. suit, they look comfortable when out and about in the woods. Perfect for picking mushrooms. I could get a boar hunting license and really get in the swing of things.

Howdy-ho.

YES.

I Will also have one of those too please! We could work together, I wait outside bars and tell people to "Come in, Don't just stand there!" and you wait inside and tell them to "Geeeet onnnnn outtta heeeeeereeee!"
That sounds lovely! It'd be great, and we can tell passers-by to spill the beans! A good Stalker spills those beans.

We could get a third guy in to work the bar, shouting "Aaaallooooo-haaaa!", too.

That sounds absolutely glorious. If I had money to throw at you, I would totally do it.
It really was.

Don't get me wrong. My friends and I would still hold our own LAN parties from time-to-time back then. But sometimes...they can be a hassle. You have to find the right place to hold them. You have to make sure you have easy access to power. Everyone has to lug their rigs to the location. Then you have the lengthy setups and tear-downs.

Dot Spot made for a fantastic alternative. You'd get everyone to meet up there at the mall. Everyone brings a few bucks to buy a few hours worth of time. You have access to all the stores and restaurants there in the mall should anyone want to get up to take a break or grab a drink or snack.

It was great. Sadly, the place only lasted about a year and a half before it had to close down.
